★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very clean and great facility. Love the ample space and overall simplicity of it. Enjoyed the music played as well 😂, realized I didn’t have my headphones in the entire session cuz I was bumping their music lol. Will definitely be visiting this location more regularly.
May 03 · Farhan AhmedI just began my membership and noticed many of the machines don't work. The front person had no clue many machines weren't working. It's so crowded and noisy. This facility needs a face lift. I'm trying one more day. If I still feel the same, I will cancel my membershipt.
August 15 · nay rodOver 2yrs later of me not living in nyc they still refuse to cancel my membership. Ive been charged over $300.00 and the rest was sent to collections. They told me in order for me to cancel I have to come in person which is ridiculous. LA fitness is getting sued for this same issue & I will now being starting a lawsuit with Retro.
August 24 · Sabrina GonzalezFirst time at this location- Amina at the front desk was so incredibly kind and welcoming! The music/atmosphere and overall energy of the club was perfect! I look forward to returning to this location whenever I'm in the area!
April 28 · EricOverall mid gym, but you get what you pay for. There are a few gripes that may or may not be within control of the management/employees here.Firstly, with such a minimal overhead cost, and an easy solution to a pretty major problem at this gym, is a parking lot. Normally I’d say there’s no space since we’re in Astoria/lic. However, there is a fully empty parking lot directly across that has been out of commission since Amazon took over shopping. Of course i am referring to Best Buy. They have a section of their lot that has not been used in over a decade guaranteed, why doesn’t management or ownership attempt to secure at least a small part of it to give guests a better experience?Secondly, this gym has turned into a high school cafeteria. The crazy part is I’m not even referring to the actual high schoolers that attend this gym. I know this is not in the gyms control, and there will be no negative rating for it, but this gym is a sitcom. You have a constant group of 10-12 males and females that choose to come during prime time and proceed to hog up each type of powerlifting rack for an hour at a time. Like i said, this has nothing to do with the gym, just a general complaint. You get what you pay for. Giuseppe is also a great worker, just needed to be added
