The morning people need retraining in customer interaction . The sauna smells terrible and needs to be sanitized couldn't inform front desk staff they're busy talking to each other.. first impression with front desk staff make me just go somewhere else.

I wish it wasn't so difficult to take myself inside. I'm bullied, by women, in ways which look as if they are being nice, & trying to help. I'm unemployed, & waiting for the results of my application for job training, from Louisville Urban League, & I'm discouraged by how easy it is to collect data, & not get anyone to services, promised. No word on math test, or reading comprehension test, or eligibility - no timeline. It seems as if it's a scam, b'cuz I was asked about housing, & have sheltered, in my vehicle, for 15yrs. I have worked on election days since 2001, & my most recent employer laid us off, after Christmas, 2024. This was my 2nd time, working, in Indiana, for this employer, & I worked with voters, November, 2024. My attendance, at work, is among the best. Homelessness is not a barrier for employment. Why is Louisville Urban League asking about housing, when I'm applying for job training, to get a job, needed, for housing to be paid for?! See?The 1st sound in "Housing!", is "How?!", & Senior Community Service Education Program (SCSEP) is offered to people 55yrs old, & older, to train, & upgrade our resume.I've worked since 1983, & lived most of my life, in Louisville, KY, where women prefer to learn where I'm from, as if I haven't lived; worked; paid taxes, & supported local businesses - from The West End, To Newburg, for more than 30yrs, since the Clinton Administration downsized the military, & thousands were refused basic training. I protested medical discharge, now, "unclassified", for 6 months, b'cuz The U.S.Navy ordered me to go home, & await orders. 29yrs, later, after I was advised to forget it ever happened, & couldn't, b'cuz I had to explain the gap, in my resume, Louisville, KY women see me as a refugee/illegal alien, & look for ways to deport me to - ?! - wherever they imagine I'm from. I've never had a passport; partner, or pregnancy, b'cuz females are so upset, when they see me. HairCare professionals won't touch my hair; the police have been called, if I walk 5-10Miles, each day, for years; police are called, if I'm parked, in the daytime, during busy hours, but, sleepy, in the driver's seat. If I have a job, women pressure every level of employment to see me disqualified, or evaluated, for mental illness, & the local news did a story about homeless women being offered inappropriate things, after we can't pay rent, b'cuz employers layoff, & offer volunteer time off, while in training.Sorry. I love the YMCA. I wish women would quit pushing each other around, & reestablish YWCA, especially, for medical care; mental healthcare; shelter; showers; meals, & employment. The Old Louisville Gardens building had an old YWCA sign, so, we had a building, here, at one time.Thank you!
May 14 · Lee Spelled L-i (Calypso)I have been to tons of YMCA's over the years, this one will always be my favorite. Very rarely crowded and the sense of community at this location is second to none
August 03 · Craig CalvertI don’t like that don’t provide feminine hygiene products to women and they also won’t let you rent the lockers overnight, which could be a hassle. If you have to carry your workout gear and you don’t have a car. I love that’s it’s closer to my house and my doctors office is here and there’s not a lot of people. Thank you for building this right here
September 03 · Victoria CoakleyNice gym, clean with new equipment. This is a fun place to workout. The pool, daycare and sauna are great amenities and the staff is friendly and helpful.
