★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I enjoy practicing at Pure Fire Yoga and had a wonderful experience at a recent retreat in San Pancho, Mexico. Many thanks to Michael, Christina, Lisa, and all of the Pure Fire family who made our FLOW so special: a week of reflecting, connecting, and recharging with a supportive community of yogis in a tranquil setting. It was clear how special this place is to Michael and the team and how much love and energy they put into creating this journey for us.I felt completely safe, at ease, and connected to the culture and pace of San Pancho life as I enjoyed our beautiful accommodations, daily yoga practice to the hum of ocean waves, beach walks, family-style meals, and opportunities to explore the town and nature. We had a wide variety of activities available to us that incorporated local practitioners and guides, including daily yoga, group reflection, kirtan, harmonizing and aromatherapy rituals, sound bath, cold plunge, hiking, boating, snorkeling, surfing, polo match, and a local beach club. Our group was so supportive, authentic, and full of fun and adventure. Thank you for an incredible week!
July 18 · Shaoli SarkarPurefire is a great hot yoga study, super clean, well maintained and very welcoming environment. Challenging class but super rewarding. Nicole was super good about talking everyone through the poses and I enjoyed her aura and atmosphere in the studio. Super good for college kids on break for summer or in school! Loved it!
May 09 · Grace EagenPureFire Yoga is amazing. I love coming to this space and really enjoy all of the classes. All of the instructors are great! They help to guide you through your practice and are super knowledgeable. The ceiling panels, soft floor, and windows make the atmosphere top notch. I feel am so appreciative of PureFire and everything they do. Much love. :)
July 14 · Jennifer TipographIncredible Yoga Retreat in San Pancho, MX...10 out of 10!!!Posting this review to highlight what was an incredible experience in San Pancho, Mexico with PureFire Yoga. At the studio I have historically attended only their Burn class, which is focused on full-body sculpting and cardio, and as a non-yogi I have zero background in what to expect in a formal yoga class let alone a week long yoga-centric retreat. Both my wife and I decided to try it out both as a shared learning experience and a beach destination vacation. The tiny beach hamlet of San Pancho on the Pacific coast of Mexico has pristine beaches surrounded by dense jungle covered mountains creating an environment rooted in nature. The town itself is has a quiet sophistication that has hidden gems around every corner including local artisan ceramic, jewelry, and clothing shops. Complementing the shopping is a variety of restaurants ranging from local-flavored taco stands to sophisticated world class cuisine. The bar scene is also lively with cervecerias, craft cocktail night spots, and beach front bars perfect for taking in an unobstructed sunset. Many of the establishments also feature live music, which inevitably leads to impromptu dancing in the streets after hours. All of the townspeople are welcoming and English is very much a second language making navigating the town a cinch. For our accommodations, Casa Raul was our home base. A private multi-bedroom house complete with individual casitas for guests, it is built into a hillside featuring both views of the ocean and surrounding jungle covered mountains. An amazing spot to have breakfast, listen to the exotic birds, watch the waves roll in, and reflect. A stone throw from a dedicated beach, the venue includes multiple pools to enjoy and a folksy, welcoming ambiance complete with private open air showers and natural thatched roofs. The food was top notch with local chefs providing an eclectic array of breakfasts and lunches at the house, as well as dinners out on the town at featured restaurants. It was an unexpected gastronomic experience that was nourishing, delicious, and locally centered. All of the programming felt balanced. Practice sessions featured power focused yoga classes, as well as restorative sessions everyday. An intentional part of the program was introspection, meditation, and interaction with other retreat participants as we built our retreat community. Beyond classes, multiple ritual ceremonies were conducted including sound baths, keratan, breath control with a cold plunge, an aromatic surrender session, etc. In many cases, the rituals were offered by high-quality local providers from the community providing more opportunities to learn about the town and region. At no point was there any pressure to participate giving attendees the space and grace to process and tailor the experience to their individual goals. Last but not least there were optional excursions like surfing, a day at the beach club, dinner and a polo match, and more. All of the programming I would recommend and personally enjoyed. Each piece was thoughtfully researched/curated and was something special. Plus, who wouldn’t love getting to pet very sweet professional polo ponies! All in all, as a non-yogi with no prior retreat experience and zero knowledge of the venue/town, I can say the experience was a 10/10. Did I participate in every offering? Nope, but that never felt like the point unless you wanted too. From a die hard yoga practitioner to a newbie like me there was something for everyone. Even as my first experience, there were moments of personal insight and growth, beach vacationing with my wife, and building community with the other retreat participants. My wife and I will be returning back soonest!!
May 23 · Tomas BonomeI used ClassPass and I took the class by Lisa on a Saturday at 3 PM and it. The class was amazing at the end of the class. They gave us a cold, wet washcloth. The studio was pristine for cleanliness and the smell was fragrant with some of that sacred wood, I can't remember the name of that wood and I parked on the street and I used park by mobile. The class was very hot and the instructions were well planned and thorough. I understood everything as a student I would definitely go back.
