★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If you’ve been wanting to try out pole, Kat is the gal you want to have teaching you. She embraces all skill sets and is a master of helping you achieve YOUR goals. Her coaching is gentle and direct, and her classes cover everything you may need: strength, flexibility, form, and fun.I’ve always left feeling overjoyed at the amazing things I’m capable of, always feel incredibly safe in the space, and encouraged to get out of my comfort zone. Kat and Pole Portland are an amazing addition to the pole community in Portland!!
May 07 · Cody SpelmanKat is such a phenomenal instructor, and the space is intimate and cozy. I loved the flow foundations class. She made sure everyone was given the attention they needed to learn each move and spent time on technique before teaching choreo. I didn’t feel awkward asking any questions, and you can tell that building community means a lot to her. Also, Kat is just hilarious in general, so you will have a great time. I highly recommend checking out her classes!
May 13 · Crystal MarieKat is an excellent instructor! She creates an atmosphere in which everybody can feel comfortable and part of a community. It is obvious that she knows how to teach. She explains everything clearly, and as many times as necessary. She also manages to teach people who are at different levels at the same this. 100% recommend!
May 08 · Vanesa ArozamenaKat is one of the instructors whose lessons have stuck with me the most! She is extremely patient and understanding, yet also one of the most knowledgeable instructors for dance and pole I’ve ever had. Really appreciate her strong engagement and genuine enthusiasm for the sport and for teaching! Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a compassionate, well-stretched, sassy, fun time with pole!
May 09 · Lulu AdamsI’ve honestly had the best time taking classes at Pole Portland! I came in as a total beginner and signed up for the six week beginner series. I was initially intimidated about taking classes, but now it’s the highlight of my week! The classes are small and the instructor is awesome! Kat is super supportive, patient, kind, and makes classes so much fun! If you want to start pole dancing, or if you want to improve your skills, I’d highly recommend taking classes here :)
