This Planet Fitness is not the “User-Friendly Zone” They Claim to Be!The front desk staff is amazing. They’re friendly, professional, and always happy to help. No complaints there.However, my experience with the gym’s trainer support has been disappointing and misleading.When I signed up 72 hours ago, I was told that as a Black Card member, I’d have access to trainers “any time” to help set goal, build a program that fits my needs.I was assured that this was one of the *key benefits* of the membership.What I actually received was a very different story:“Yes, I can help; but it’s nothing against you, I only work with people in my class, people I’ve been training for a long time and have built relationships with. You’ll need to sign up on this for my classes during the times I’m available. Otherwise, I won’t help.”So, apparently “any time” really means: “only when it works for me.”That’s not user-friendly. And being dismissive while hiding behind a polite smile isn’t good customer service, it’s fake, it feels condescending.This experience made me feel unwelcome and like I was being brushed off. If you promote a service, deliver on it. Don’t make promises you’re not willing to keep.I left, and canceled my membership 15 minutes after being there. I will not give that sort of treatment my hard earned money.

Took a year off and came back to this location. Used to be really clean but you dont see people moving and cleaning anymore. Asked the front desk to refill paper towels and nobody came to do it.

This is the worst planet fitness I have visited. All of the machines are extremely worn down. Very few accessories for cable machines. Dumbells only go to 60 lbs here when all other locations go to 75 lb. Very dirty too. No one picks up after themselves here. Plates laying all over the floor along with used paper towel.

I have consistently had a disappointing experience at this gym, where I either encounter issues myself or witness other patrons expressing concerns. The primary source of these problems is the management and a specific employee, Becky, who appears to be disenchanted with her role. Unfortunately, she often takes out her frustration on customers, exhibiting extreme rudeness and a lack of helpfulness. Moreover, she fails to respond to complaints in a satisfactory manner. It is essential for businesses to closely monitor and address reviews that highlight detrimental employee behavior, as this can irreparably harm their reputation over time and result in significant customer losses. Personally, I have discouraged several individuals from joining this gym due to the unpleasant interactions with Becky, which can be a significant deterrent. As a paying customer, it is reasonable to expect a respectful and courteous experience, rather than feeling harassed, mistreated, or marginalized. To ensure the long-term success of this business, I strongly advise management to consider recruiting new employees who can elevate the quality of the experience, rather than tolerating those who are indifferent to customer satisfaction. This proactive approach will ultimately benefit both the business and its clientele.
