I have been taking small group classes at Pilates on 10th for the last few months and have to say I am quite pleased with my experience.Initially, when I saw that group classes were offered on ClassPass, I was shocked! I am used to larger group classes at other studios (Club Pilates, Moov, Solidcore to name a few) being available on ClassPass, but did not expect them at Pilates on 10th, which I view as a "Classical" Pilates studio (to my pleasant surprise) would be on there!I eventually signed up for the two week unlimited package for $99 and thought it was a great deal, given that I completed 5 or 6 classes and a drop in fee is $48.00 for one class.Studio:-Located on 10th in Cap Hill (northern side)-Clean, casual and no frills (no neon signs like "find your core", "pilates & lattes" lol)-All apparatus' you would expect- reformer, mat, tower, ladder barrel, spine corrector, Cadillac, Wunda chair-Neatly organized with reformers grouped in the back, mats in one corner and Cadillac centrally located with other apparatusesClasses/Services offered:-Small group classes (up to four/five people): reformer beginner, reformer intermediate, tower, mat, jumpboard, Pilates circuit (using different apparatus)-Private lessons: 1:1, 2:1Teachers:-They all seem incredibly talented and experienced, but I can only speak to Kerry and Mary, who I have taken classes with- Kerry: You can tell she is experienced and deeply cares about teaching Pilates, dropping in little nuggets about Joseph Pilates and I love her sense of humor (kind of dry, but totally my style). She pays attention to the small details that often make the biggest difference. I have taken mat and tower classes with her and each time, I leave feeling exhilarated from the challenge, but also enjoy being able to laugh a little! I will be back for more classes with her for sure.-Mary: She is still early in her career, but she is very good at making sure the reformer classes flow well, which is a huge part of Pilates!! I like her calm demeanor, her cues, and hands on approach to corrections. I ask a a lot of questions (as I am wanting to make sure I am doing the exercises correctly) and she always answers with a thoughtful answer/explanation. Looking forward to more classes with her!Booking classes: Either through ClassPass app, or on their website. Very easy and intuitive to use.My overall review is that this studio is professional, "Classical" style, experienced teachers, friendly front desk and overall, I love it here! Don't expect reformer classes with heavy dumbbells and lots of complicated exercises, these instructors stick to the Classical system and progressively build from there, which I absolutely prefer and think is the best way to be safe and effective. - Victoria Jirak
