I finally went to a class with one of my friends, (between the two of us, she had just had a baby and gotten cleared to work out again, and I have not worked out in several years) and we both loved it and signed up.Orangetheory accommodates clientele of all different levels of physical endurance and ability. There is a very positive energy in the room during the workout, and you feel a sense of camaraderie although each person is focused on their own workout.Whenever I leave, I feel thoroughly challenged and then I made the best use of my time. Each class is CHALLENGING, to say the least, but it’s worth it at the end. You go at your own pace and adjust each task to your ability and never once will feel put on the spot like anyone else is paying attention to that. The coaches will assist with a workout modification if needed due to injury or ability.If you have been waiting to try it due to fear or feeling self-conscious, take it from me and GO FOR IT! Even if it’s the only workout you do during the week I truly think you’ll still feel the positive effects physically and mentally.

Stepping into Orange Theory was stepping out of my comfort zone, but it quickly became the place where I found my strength, my progress, and my community. From countless 5 a.m. classes to embracing the challenge, I thought this was a fitness journey, but turns out I have found myself. Here’s to continuing to grow and thrive in 2025! If you are ever thinking about taking an OTF class, I would tell you to do it.

They push you to do your absolute best, but they hold no judgment if you have to take it easy. In fact, they help you find alternative movements to utilize in order to still get that heart rate up without going over your limits. I look forward to coming to my classes every time, even if it’s a 5am class!
