Obstacle Ninja Academy Introduce
For fitness enthusiasts and thrill-seeking families across the Sunshine State, the concept of a traditional gym has been revolutionized by the competitive spirit of obstacle course racing. Obstacle Ninja Academy (ONA), located in the heart of Orlando, stands as a premier destination for anyone—from toddlers to seasoned athletes—looking to experience the excitement and physical challenge of American Ninja Warrior-style training. This is not a standard big-box gym; it is a specialized, two-story facility where strength, agility, and technique are honed on professional-grade rigs and obstacles.
In a region where the humidity and frequent afternoon rainstorms can disrupt outdoor plans, ONA offers a massive, dry, and air-conditioned environment, open seven days a week, making it a reliable training hub regardless of the Florida weather. The appeal spans across generations: kids embrace the challenge and fun of Youth classes and obstacle rigs, while adults find a dynamic, full-body workout that constantly rotates and challenges them, eliminating the monotony of conventional gym routines. One customer perfectly summed up the experience, noting, "Oh man, I was a kid in a playground. I had so much fun and learned how hard these obstacles can be... especially if you do not have proper technique."
What truly differentiates Obstacle Ninja Academy is the caliber of instruction. The staff frequently includes experienced, competitive athletes, including those who have been featured on the American Ninja Warrior television show. They bring authentic insight, safety-conscious supervision, and dedicated coaching to every class and open gym session, ensuring participants from all skill levels can learn and progress. Whether your goal is to conquer the infamous warped walls, improve grip strength, or simply burn energy in a constructive and engaging way, ONA is the Orlando hub for the booming Ninja Warrior fitness movement.
The Obstacle Ninja Academy facility is strategically located to serve the greater Orlando metropolitan area. You can find this dedicated training center at 2120 33rd St, Orlando, FL 32839, USA. Its proximity to major thoroughfares makes it accessible for local residents in Orange County and surrounding areas looking for a unique fitness solution.
Understanding the need for convenience and inclusivity, ONA is built to be an accessible space for all patrons. The facility features a Wheelchair accessible entrance, dedicated Wheelchair accessible parking lot, and a Wheelchair accessible restroom. Inside, guests will find necessary Amenities, including a Restroom, alongside an atmosphere that is high-energy and engaging.
For day-to-day transactions, payments are straightforward, with the Academy accepting major Credit cards and Debit cards for classes, open gym admissions, and monthly memberships. The two-story layout includes a service desk on the ground level for easy check-in and information, while the dedicated party room upstairs, away from the main course, is used for events, enhancing the overall functionality and customer experience.
Obstacle Ninja Academy offers a wide array of programs designed to cater to every age group and skill level, ensuring that everyone can partake in the 'Ninja' lifestyle.
- Kids Class (Ages 6-13) and Youth Classes ($28.00): Structured instructional classes broken down by skill level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) to teach proper technique, strength building, and course navigation.

- ONA Strong (Traditional Gym Access): The second-floor area with a weight lifting area, free weights, cardio equipment (treadmills, rower), and calisthenics equipment, accessible to adults aged 15 and over.
- Specialty Fitness Classes: Including Adult Calisthenics Class, Aerial Silks Class, Contortion Class, and OCR Workout instruction, catering to a diverse range of athletic interests.
- Kids Birthday Parties: Packages for private events featuring structured interaction with coaches on the obstacles and dedicated time in the party room for a stress-free celebration.
ONA's core features are centered on providing an authentic, effective, and safe Ninja Warrior training environment in Central Florida.
- Two-Story, Comprehensive Facility: The design includes multiple, separate obstacle rigs (main course downstairs, technique rig upstairs) and a complete traditional gym (ONA Strong) for full-spectrum training—from agility and grip strength to pure calisthenics and weightlifting.
- Two Warped Walls and Rock Climbing: Provides the quintessential Ninja Warrior experience, allowing both beginners and advanced athletes to practice one of the most iconic challenges on the show.
- Coaching from American Ninja Warrior Veterans: Instruction is provided by highly qualified and experienced staff, many of whom are active competitors, offering professional, competition-level technique and coaching.
- Focus on Technique and Safety: Classes are intentionally small (kids’ classes are often limited to 8 participants per coach) to ensure personalized attention, focus on proper form, and safety supervision.
- Flexible, Affordable Access: The Unlimited classes and open gym time ($150.00) membership offers great value for regular visitors, while single-visit options ($23.00 for Open Gym, $28.00 for Class) cater perfectly to those who wish to drop-in.
- Ideal Climate Control: The facility is fully air-conditioned, offering a critical advantage in the Florida climate, allowing for comfortable, year-round training.
- Birthday Party Specialists: Instructors are adept at leading structured, high-energy birthday party interactions on the obstacle course, ensuring kids enjoy the fun while learning to navigate the obstacles safely.

For residents of Florida, choosing Obstacle Ninja Academy over a typical recreational center or traditional gym offers several distinct and powerful advantages. First and foremost is the specialization. If you or your child is inspired by the challenge of obstacle course racing, there is no substitute for a dedicated facility built with professional-grade equipment and coached by athletes who have lived the sport. ONA provides the most authentic 'Ninja' training experience in Central Florida.
The dual-level structure offers a complete training ecosystem. Beginners and children can safely practice technique on the lower rig, while experienced adults can push their limits on the full-scale courses and then transition seamlessly to strength training in the upstairs ONA Strong area. This variety ensures your fitness routine never becomes stagnant, offering continuous physical and mental challenges that traditional weight training often lacks. As one member discovered, taking a class to learn "proper technique" is the key to taking full advantage of the open gym time, highlighting the value of the expert coaching available.
While one customer review did note a concern about cleanliness, the overwhelming consensus praises the "great environment, awesome staff and a great experience." The instructors are consistently lauded for being friendly, helpful, and effective in coaching, making the gym feel like a supportive community. Whether you are 50 and want to challenge yourself for a birthday, or a parent seeking an engaging and active outlet for your kids, Obstacle Ninja Academy delivers a unique blend of fitness, fun, and specialized instruction that is unmatched, making it the definitive choice for all aspiring Ninja Warriors in the Orlando area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Oh man, I was a kid in a playground. I decided to go here for my 50th birthday, and I had some much fun and learned how hard these obstacles can be...especially if you do not have proper technique. It's a two story location, the top floor has a weight lifting area and an obstacle rig lower to the ground for practicing your technique and there was a class for kids going on at that time. The ground level has the service desk, toddler area, bathrooms...the regular obstacle rig with 2 warp walls and a rock climbing wall. I went on a Saturday for open gym time, so you get to use the course and the staff are watching but not coaching. The staff are friendly and helpful. Alot of the obstacles we see on the TV show are here to try out.At the end of my time one of the coachs showed me a technique which helped me to complete an obstacle and now the next time I go back, I will take a class to learn proper techniques so that I can take full advantage of the open gym time.Overall, great environment, awesome staff and a great experience.Go check it out.
September 12 · Evolv3 Inc.We attended a birthday party here. I must say I thought the instructors were very good and I liked how they had a structured interaction with the kids to help them learn and navigate the obstacles upstairs (not the main course downstairs). The kids really enjoyed it and definitely got their energy levels used up. What I didn’t like and strongly suggest to the owners is that they invest some time in cleaning the place. It’s one of the dirtiest places I’ve ever been to. I get it’s a gym and there may be chalk dust etc but it’s really dirty!!!
January 13 · onthegoboomerTwo thumbs up for Obstacle Ninja Academy! We did my son’s 7th birthday party there today & it was great! My son likes Ninja Warrior, but we hadn’t ever been to this place prior to the party. I can definitely say we will be going back!We had the 12 kid package, but they have a larger package available if you are wanting to invite more kids. It was a great price, which includes two hours of fun & 30 minutes of set up beforehand. The party room is upstairs & you have the upstairs area & obstacles all to yourself during the party time. They start by warming the kids up, then they guide them through obstacle courses for an hour or so, then to the party room for whatever food/cake you bring for about 15 minutes, then open gym for the last 45 minutes. The workers were wonderful! They did a great job handling a bunch of first graders. They helped the kids on all the obstacles, if they needed assistance. Other than the set up (30 minutes before the party) & helping with food/cake when they are in the room, the staff handled the rest. You can bring whatever food you’d like! It’s about 5 minutes away from Millenia Costco, so we ordered pizzas, which was convenient to pick up.Would definitely recommend for your kiddo’s birthday party!
May 04 · Mallory CameronIncredible. We are from out of town, but while in Orlando my 9-year-old really wanted to check this place out (she actually chose this over Disney). She did 2 hours of open gym then did 2 classes afterwards, and she still didn’t want to leave!Obstacle Ninja Academy is very clean, and huge! There is so much to do for every skill level, and the staff was all great with my visiting daughter. Robin helped us out and also taught one of the classes - 5-stars all around! I’m pretty sure my daughter will choose this over anything else when we have future trips to Orlando! Thank you for being such a great host!
January 30 · Michelle BourkeCame here on a Sunday for the open gym. No one was working so we called and they said they be right down but also just log in using the iPad. The iPads have all member data just openly available. I can see everyone’s date of birth, credit card information, contact info, children info… see photo. This place is also so dirty? Again, look at the pics.We ended up leaving because there is no way we are leaving our personal information and credit card information.
