It boasts a contemporary, 140,000-square-foot Recreation Center that caters to every fitness goal, from the occasional user to the serious sports enthusiast. The OU Recreation and Well-Being program is rooted in a mission to lead the community toward a lifelong commitment to well-being by offering inclusive programs, services, and facilities. For Michigan locals, this means access to collegiate-level amenities at competitive community membership rates.

May 22 · Tiffany SánchezOakland University always does a great job hosting the ceremonies for whatever school district is in Oakland County that year. My niece, who is the baby of the family, graduated high school. She is officially in the class of 2025, my family and I showed up to support her and all the other families of the Waterford school district. An absolutely beautiful ceremony this year
June 01 · Herbalist Nurse FeeWent to a basketball game at O'rena at Oakland University and it was fantastic! The Golden Grizzles took on Youngstown State in an action packed game. Both teams played really hard and are extremely skilled and athletic! The band and dance team did a great job entertaining fans at halftime. Facilities are top notch and easily accessible. We greatly enjoyed the game and will be back soon!
February 08 · Fb NnnnbnWent here for the Harlem Globetrotters. It was a fun event. Nice cozy arena, seats are a little tight but that's okay because there's no bad view really. The place is not big at all. Only downside is the concession stand took about 30 minutes to get a snack. Brutal.
February 11 · Mike HathawayIt was a maze for me. I am in a wheelchair and there was no clear direction for entry, so I ended up facing stairs and blank walls........I knew there had to be an entrance for me, so I kept going and finally achieved my goal. Then handicap seating indoors was taken by capable people, so my husband wound up elsewhere. Not ideal.
