★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I booked this place before I knew it was the original location. This place is such a gem! The space and the teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and hands on with technique. I’ve been doing Pilates for about 4 months and this will be a place I always remember and I can’t wait to visit again when I come back to New York! Thank you Chrissy and Konstantin for being wonderful teachers in NYC! It definitely made my trip extra special.
June 20 · Misty RanaeAh-mazing. I was nervous to come because I'm not from a big city and my experience was limited to club Pilates. I had a hard time finding the entrance, but I gave myself extra time. The instructor (owner) Konstantin was so helpful and pleasant. I am so happy I caught a spot and definitely will come back next time I'm in town. Would recommend even if it's outside of your comfort zone-- I learned a lot.
June 28 · a kNice&Tall is a beautiful Pilates experience rooted in true traditional practice. The instructor was wonderfully kind and attentive, and the studio’s charming ambiance creates the perfect space to feel both centered and challenged. Grateful to have found this gem in NYC.
April 12 · Daiane SouzaI took the opportunity to take a class while I was visiting the neighborhood. I was welcomed by Vera and truly enjoyed her class! As a physical therapist and Pilates studio owner, I found her teaching style to honor the classical method while incorporating effective corrective exercises that enhance body awareness. She was kind enough to show me around and explain some of the history of the studio. I hope to return when I visit NYC again!
April 28 · Kristen HardinKonstantin was an amazing instructor. I fell in love with Pilates years ago. I was exposed to the pilates thru Club Pilates and other studios. This environment is special. Knowing that Joseph Pilates started here was electrifying . I realized that I have not been taught by the caliber of instructor that this place offers. I appreciated the explanation and the direction that was given. I was visiting New York and I am envious of anyone who is able to take these classes on a regular basis. It was a honor to be in the class today. THANK YOU!!!
