Introduction / Overview: Elevating Youth Volleyball in the Illinois Region
For parents and aspiring young athletes across Illinois, particularly in the Chicago suburbs, finding a high-quality, professional, and genuinely supportive environment for competitive sports is a top priority. Mindset Volleyball Club, located in Niles, IL, distinguishes itself as a premier destination for youth club volleyball. While the facility is categorized as a "gym," its true focus is on comprehensive athletic development—blending intensive physical training with a critical emphasis on mental and emotional growth.
Mindset Volleyball Club is built on a philosophy that goes beyond mere drills and physical conditioning. As the name suggests, the club places a high value on fostering a positive mental approach to the game. Families repeatedly praise the "great vibe" and the "positive atmosphere that really enables for the players to grow." The club’s dedicated coaches and leadership, including the owner, Randy Satovitz (who also serves as Master Coach), are celebrated for being deeply invested in the girls’ "physical and mental stamina for the game." Far from the "horror stories" sometimes associated with club sports, Mindset is known for creating a respectful, encouraging, and supportive "family" environment where technical skills are developed, mistakes are seen as learning opportunities, and players achieve impressive competitive success.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We're incredibly happy with the experience our daughter is having in her first year of club volleyball. The coaches (go Coach Paul!) and the owner Randy all provide a positive atmosphere that really enables for the players to grow. There's a great vibe here that doesn't feel forced and our daughter really gained a lot of incredible experience in a short amount of time. The practices are really thorough (meeting 3 times a week) and the coaches foster an atmosphere of respect and encouragement. My daughter is constantly getting great feedback and whenever she's struggled with a technical aspect of the game her coach has always made himself available for her to learn from her mistakes. We've heard a lot of horror stories about club volleyball and we feel really lucky to be a part of the Mindset family!
May 19 · Eugene SmithMy daughter is wrapping up her 3rd year with Mindset. We couldn’t be happier! She loves her team and coaches. Our teams’ families are so supportive and down to earth. The coaches all truly have the girls’ best interests at heart, and focus on their physical and mental stamina for the game as they learn and improve in the sport. Tied for first in their regular season league. Just had two first places in recent tournaments, with one left to round out the season!! Go Mindset!!
June 03 · Kim NigroWe are wrapping up my 6th grade daughter's first year of travel volleyball with Mindset. It was a great year, she grew a lot and really enjoyed the girls she played with on her regional team. We live in the city and commuting to the Northside was very doable! I can't say enough about the club's owner, so personalable, so accessible and knowledgeable!
