★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Melissa is the owner and teacher at Lotus Yoga. She is absolutely wonderful at what she does; you can tell this is a real passion of hers. The prenatal yoga class is full of helpful tips and great support both from Melissa and the other women. I don't know how she keeps all of us and our due dates/ problems separate in her head, but she manages it. There is a reason that multiple of my friends recommended Lotus Yoga to me. 💜
May 17 · Meg AdamsI started attending prenatal yoga in the middle of my pregnancy with my first baby and absolutely fell in LOVE with the class, the atmosphere and the mom community. I found myself looking forward to each class so much each week. Prenatal yoga made me feel so relaxed and more comfortable in my body than I ever felt throughout my entire pregnancy. The owner and instructor Melissa made me feel so welcome, included and supported as a first time mom. From my very first class she remembered my name, my due date and that I was having a boy! The support and judgement free community that you get from the other moms in the group you will not get anywhere else. After having my baby boy I continued to attend her mommy and me class (open only to those who attended prenatal yoga) which was an amazing place to be able to feel comfortable going to as a nervous first time mom. Melissa has crated such a wonderful space for moms and their babies to come where no one cares if you haven’t showered in days, have spit up on your shirt or if you baby is screaming. 10/10 would recommend ANY class at this studio
December 28 · Kelsey OrlowskiPrenatal yoga saved me during pregnancy and made labor and delivery so much more manageable!!! I never thought I would be the kind of person actually remembering the positions, breathing techniques, and having the faith in myself to employ them. Just when I thought it couldn't get better, in came baby and mama yoga and with it the most welcoming friendships and camaraderie! I can't recommend Melissa and Lotus Yoga enough for a relaxing, comfortable, enjoyable, "come as you are" experience!
November 04 · Morgan ConwayI loved coming to Lotus Yoga during my first pregnancy. Some yoga studios can feel intimidating but not the prenatal classes at Lotus, it's just this wonderful community of expectant moms and the vibe is really positive. Also I can't help but laugh at this other reviewer who interrupted a class while yakking away on her phone and then came to Google reviews to complain! I always found Melissa to be friendly and welcoming. Just be respectful as you enter and you'll find it's a great way to exercise and relax during pregnancy.
February 09 · Lola DannPrenatal yoga and Baby and Mom yoga were both enormous gifts to me with my first. I met so many other new moms (many of whom I still stay in contact with) and treasured the opportunity to participate in such a supportive community of women. Melissa creates a comfortable, judgement free atmosphere that welcomes all. I am now back to prenatal with my second pregnancy and am so grateful for the Zoom and in-person options.
