Gym ★5.0

56 Old Rochester Rd Suite 1, Dover, NH 03820, USA

5.0
I've been a member of this gym since almost its Inception and I'm ashamed it's taken this long to write a review. As a business owner myself I understand how important it is for the public to hear other people's opinions and helping to make their decisions these days. I can't say enough good about this establishment and its owners. As far as gyms go if they don't have it you don't need it is absolutely true. It is a great mix of people from Hardcore powerlifters right down to people that just want to walk on the treadmill and everybody helps everybody. I've never seen a gym like that where everybody just gels together. Normally everybody has their click and their own little group of exercise people and that's where they keep it, this is not like that at all. There young college kids, there are older people, all of them working on their own goals and everybody genuinely seems excited for each other. So to the owners, I say thank you and please keep it up! - AWC Advanced Wildlife Control

What is worth choosing

Lift Free or Die stands out as a unique and compelling choice for anyone in New Hampshire who is serious about their fitness. What makes this gym truly worth choosing is its blend of a highly specialized environment with a deeply welcoming community. One long-time member perfectly articulated this, saying, "I've never seen a gym like that where everybody just gels together." This isn't just a place to lift; it's a place to belong. The gym's focus on strength sports like powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting, complete with the necessary top-tier equipment, makes it an ideal spot for those who feel constrained by the limited offerings of generic fitness centers. For a powerlifter and his wife who moved to the area, they "felt right at home here." This is a testament to the gym's ability to create a comfortable and familiar space for its members. The 24-hour key card access is a huge advantage, especially for New Hampshire's busy residents who may not have time to work out during standard hours. This flexibility removes a major barrier to consistency. Furthermore, the gym's commitment to accessibility, including wheelchair-accessible facilities, ensures that it's an option for everyone. With a professional yet relaxed "chill environment," as one review states, Lift Free or Die proves that a serious gym can also be a supportive and positive place. Its straightforward membership structure, without hidden fees, and easy payment options further cement its value. Choosing Lift Free or Die means choosing a gym that is truly dedicated to its members' success, not just in their physical goals, but in feeling a sense of community and support that is all too rare today.
