The facility's "resort-style" atmosphere is a significant draw, making the fitness experience feel less like a chore and more like a luxury. The sheer volume of services—from a wide array of strength and cardio equipment to dedicated yoga and Pilates studios, basketball courts, and a swimming pool—means that a single membership can replace several different memberships. The family-friendly approach is another key reason to choose Life Time. The availability of on-site day care and organized kids' programs is a game-changer for parents, who can confidently work out knowing their children are safe and engaged. This makes a workout possible even on the busiest days. The commitment to accessibility, including wheelchair-accessible features throughout the facility, demonstrates a dedication to inclusivity that is important for a community-oriented club. While some members have expressed frustration over policy changes and the number of people, the majority of the feedback points to a beautiful, clean, and well-maintained facility with a fantastic range of offerings. For someone who can make full use of the extensive amenities—from the pools and sauna to the various classes and family programs—the value proposition of Life Time can be well worth the investment, providing a one-stop-shop for health, wellness, and family recreation in Westwood and beyond.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The facilities are great and the pool is lots of fun so why the 2? When I registered and spoke with the staff who had me sign up, I very specifically asked about only using the facilities during the summer to get access to the pool. I was assured that would be possible and I was able to put my membership on hold from September till May of this year since I had 0 interest in going during those months.Lifetime has changed their SOP, and the membership concierge lead must have said that statement to me 5x in a 3 minute call, and then tried to explain to me that I need to pay for months I won't use the gym because if everyone paused their membership till the summer the gym wouldn't make any money.Very suspect to change your policies after telling families they can sign up for when they need too. I was told "we're sorry to see you go" which is just untrue.
August 26 · Navin JainI have been going to Lifetime since it opened. It is a beautiful gym with great facilities and workers. I have had a good experience overall. With that being said, I am deeply disappointed with many aspects of the club. The rising prices are out of control. The sheer volume of people at the gym, especially during the summer, is out of control. Lifetime Management must be more interested in packing the club full of people like sardines to make more money rather than the guest experience for loyal members. The pool is out of control. Kids gone wild with little parent supervision. Kids splashing in the hot tubs. Food and wrappers left on the pool chairs. Do better lifetime. Stop prioritizing money and summer memberships at the expense of loyal members.
June 19 · Liam WilsonI see a good amount of negative reviews here that I don’t fully understand or agree with. I love this gym, obviously it is expensive but we have found it to be worth it. My wife and I bring our toddler to the kids academy sometimes and he loves it. I play basketball here and it’s great. I’ve found the locker room to be super clean, in fact there’s constantly staff actively cleaning while I’ve been there. I don’t think any gym in the area is anywhere near as nice as this place. Also, in my experience other members tend to love the gym as well.
May 11 · Connor JoyceI have been a member for years but the prices keep rising and they are taking away features instead of adding. If we were paying more for more features it would make sense but every time I go I’m waitlisted for classes and told I cannot use all the facilities. Restricted pool use restricted kids academy - for all the money we are paying they really need to figure it out.
July 20 · Hayley Hayes** Updated review April 2025**DO NOT SIGN UP AT THE THIS GYM!!!Please read this review before signing upI've been a loyal member at this gym since they opened in 2015. To say the quality and experience has dramatically decreased over that time is a gigantic understatement. When you pay $260/month you expect a luxury experience, which this gym fails to deliver.Recently, I was notified that my membership will be increased $10/month due to "economy reasons". Keep in mind they are increasing the membership prior to opening the outside pool, how convenient. I believe this increase is extremely petty and insulting.
