Kurt is down to earth, genuinely cares about my goals, and helps make the workout varied, fun, and progressively challenging towards my goals. I truly feel like I’m stronger already and most importantly not putting myself at risk for injury trialing new exercises. I’ve been active in the past, but weight training was not a significant part of my life until now. If you’re on the fence, make sure to give Kurt a try! Glad I did!
December 21 · Alexander NguyenThank goodness for Kurtis and KB Fitness! I’ve found my most perfect gym and I’m here to stay! A semi serious gym injury right before the pandemic had made me extremely leery of working out at a gym, especially with a trainer since my previous injury was due to a “trainer” overshooting my abilities and stupid me was too timid to speak up for myself. I had been eyeing KB Fitness for awhile before actually working out the courage to finally step in and my only regret was NOT hoping KB sooner. Kurtis is seriously, the best trainer I’ve ever worked with. He listens to everything you have to say and remembers your limitations. He sets up workouts that are fun and challenging, base on your fitness level, and he’s SO attentive, making sure you do the movements properly and not compromising your form. His wife, Corinna, is also a trainer there. Although I haven’t had the pleasure of working out with her, I have seen her train other members and she is also very encouraging and strives to push her clients just enough for a great workout. After a few personal training sessions with Kurtis, I’ve decided to sign up for open gym at KB. I was extremely nervous because I’ve never used squat racks and cable machines on my own before but after a few pointers and instructions from Kurtis, I can proudly say I know my way around those machines now! The thing I love most about open gym is that KB Fitness has an app that you use to reserve your hour to workout and Kurtis limits it to 4 members at hour so there is enough equipment for us to use without having to wait. Granted, the gym is very small compared to other commercial gyms BUT the racks, machines (including cardio) and weights offered are MORE than enough to get in a heart thumping buckets of sweat inducing workout. I get in, warm up, set up, workout, and I’m done, super duper easy. All the other members I have encountered here are all so nice and helpful, many variation of ages come here to workout! OH and another commendable thing I have to say about Kurtis- he is constantly keeping up with his studies in the fitness world, AND he studies extra to know how to properly train his older clients! The fact that he takes the time to constantly try to improve his methods just goes to show you how serious he really is in his craft- to make fitness fun and achievable for EVERYONE!

He has tailored each workout to my everchanging goals, injuries and overall health. Kurtis is the best trainer and I have trusted him with helping me build the body to reach my goals. It is because of his personalized plans and support which makes him someone that you want to have on your side.
September 12 · Lindsey PI’ve trained with Kurtis for the last couple of years - from Orangetheory to Hardcore and now to his current gym, KB Fitness. The reason why I’ve followed him is because I feel like he truly cares about his clients. He gently pushes you to do more without risking injury or form and actually engages with you during your workouts.The studio is on the smaller side, but this allows him to individually interact with each of his clients during their studio time. Larger studios/classes/gyms don’t have this trainer perk.KB Fitness has all new, clean, top-of-the-line equipment. As a client here, you’ll rarely have to wait to use the equipment.Lastly, Kurtis offers in-house versus online workouts which gives clients flexibility if they can’t make it into the gym.10/10 highly recommend!
