I was looking for a more fun and intense workout and found it when I signed up for a 6-week challenge, have since lost weight, dress sizes and feel stronger and healthier! Two yrs later, kickboxing is still my go-to workout. Plus, the owner, staff and other gym members are very nice and welcoming!!

There's actually a lot of variety in who walks through the doors between folks coming in for 5+ years and people just starting out. Everything is at your own pace and modified if you have any injuries or need to work on progression.Most box gyms have only an annual membership with extra (pricey) fees if you cancel early, but Chris offers annual, monthly, and class packs to make it flexible for everyone at different price points. Super flexible, and everybody (instructors of course, and other folks in class) just want to see you reach your fitness goals. Like anything worth doing, if working out was easy and you lost 30lbs in a month, everybody would have a six pack! That's just not realistic, but the team here works with you, cares about how it's going. Nutrition plans too! Everyone here is supper welcoming, there aren't any pushy muscle-heads like there are at box gyms, just genuine people who actually care.If you read a lot of the other reviews you'll know Chris is a fantastic owner, anything with cancellation policies are actually mandated by the State of Rhode Island and/or the billing company and he's actually really open about explaining it if you have questions, and there's postings at the front desk and it's on the waiver.We do fundraisers for local animal shelters every so often, 5Ks every fall and spring, "Gymsgiving", potlucks, etc.Oh and there's also two gym cats!

The gym as a whole including the members are welcoming, nonjudgmental and friendly! I have never felt so accepted from a group of people that I didn’t even know who turned out to be great friends! This gym has completely changed my life both physically and mentally!I have been attending classes consistently and with joining their accountability group I have lost close to 50 pounds, gained muscle and made a complete lifestyle change! I feel the best and am the healthiest I have ever been and still striving for more!I have attended many other gyms and there’s just no comparison! The atmosphere of the gym is very energetic and upbeat and the cleanliness is second to none! One of the top things I love about Just Train is that the trainers really care about you. They motivate you to do better and bring the energy to actually make working out fun! I don’t think I have ever laughed so much while working out! They are knowledgeable and motivating! Stop by and give it a try! You may end up changing your life also! Hope to see you there!
July 06 · Kate MalbaurnMy sister had cancelled her membership to this gym since January 2024. They kept charging her. She went in to cancel AGAIN in August, thinking it was an honest mistake. Want to guess what happened? They KEPT CHARGING HER. we have since filed disputes with our bank, begged them to process the cancellation again, everything under the sun. And as of today? THEY KEEP CHARGING HER!!! this has been an unmitigated NIGHTMARE. I do not know if this is gross incompetence or actual malicious business practice, but either way, you *CANNOT* trust this gym with your money, and certainly not your credit card information. Save yourselves, since we can’t seem to save ourselves.
