What is worth choosing I•D Pilates?
For New Yorkers in the Buffalo area, choosing a fitness studio is about finding a place that aligns with their goals and personal needs. I•D Pilates is a superior choice for several compelling reasons. First and foremost, the expertise of the instructors is a game-changer. As one client noted, the owner, Hayley S., is "masterful" in her knowledge and execution. This level of professional guidance is essential for a practice like Pilates, where improper form can lead to injury rather than benefit. The instructors’ ability to address specific issues, such as low back pain from scoliosis or post-pregnancy core instability, shows a level of specialized care that is rare to find in a standard gym.
Secondly, the studio's culture and community are unparalleled. The welcoming and inclusive environment makes it easy for newcomers to feel comfortable and for long-term members to stay motivated. It's a space where different levels are challenged appropriately, and everyone feels supported. This sense of belonging is a key factor in a person’s ability to consistently stick with a fitness routine, turning a workout into a life-changing habit. The studio’s identity as a women-owned business also adds a layer of empowerment and community that is highly attractive to many people.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a place that offers more than just a workout—a place that provides expert care, personalized attention, and a supportive community—I•D Pilates is the ideal choice. It is a place where you can not only achieve your fitness goals but also gain a deeper understanding of your body and its potential. The combination of a highly skilled team, a welcoming atmosphere, and a results-driven approach makes I•D Pilates a truly worthwhile investment in your health and a decision you won't regret.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Owner of this amazing female-owned Pilates studio, Hayley S. is - in a word - masterful. The depth and breadth of her knowledge, the execution of her expertise, and her attention to each client’s individual needs is unmatched. I specifically sought her out knowing she would be the one to address my core instability after three children while also implementing a plan to relieve my low back pain; the result of many years of scoliosis. Thanks to Hayley, I am gaining the body I want, while maintaining the body I’ve been given. She has grown this small business and created a culture of instructors who embody the ethos that is I•D Pilates.
March 29 · Rebecca WitterLong and Lean Pilates is my absolute favorite studio. The instructors are great. Each one has a different vibe and approach, which is great. They are very welcoming and inclusive, and they challenge you at the same time (no matter what your level). It's the only studio I've ever been able to stick it with on a consistent basis for a long period of time. I've been going for almost two years and training there has been one of the best decisions of my life in terms of health and wellness. It's a game changer.
May 06 · Melissa MeyerI go to this studio at least 3 times a week. Every instructor is so different Which I enjoy. they are all very patient and attentive during the small group class. I’m happy I chose L&L as part of my post partum recovery. If you are curious about classic Pilates this is the best place to go- it can be intimidating but the instructors really take the time to make you feel comfortable.
March 11 · Tara MonacoLove this studio! Took my first ever pilates class here and have been back many times since. The classes are fun yet challenging and instructor are all super friendly and welcoming. When I came into my first class, I was a bit nervous and not sure what to expect in a pilates class but the instructors were super helpful in showing me what to do / how to use Reformers for the first time!
April 28 · Annie ZhengAfter years of being inactive I decided to try out Long + Lean Pilates and never turned back! I was a bit intimidated by a reformer but Hayley (studio owner) was great at walking this first timer through the machine and classic Pilates exercises. It's a wonderful studio with a great sense of community and amazing instructors. There are classes/instructors for all different levels of Pilates experience. Suggestions for beginners - work up to Jacquie and Ashley's classes, they move faster and having a solid base understanding Pilates movements is helpful to reduce any intimidation factor and post work out burn. Yes... you will for sure experience the Pilates burn! The circuit classes with Jacquie and Ashley are high intensity (serious burn) and fun but definitely require a familiarity of all the equipment as you use all the stations (reformer, jumpboard, cadillac, stall bars, chairs) in a fast paced 45 min workout. The small class sizes (5 spot per group class) make it welcoming to any newbie and allows for your best chance of instructors giving you attention and actually walking you through proper positioning for each movement.I would recommend this studio to anyone who does or does not have experience with Pilates.
