April 11 · minelaSuch an amazing place with amazing employees & members who make it even more worth going to hotworx! I have been going for a little over a year & have noticed zero pain in my SI joint after my recent L4 L5 back fracture. Truly recommend to anyone who wants to be in a positive & encouraging workout environment!
April 11 · Audrey BaileyLet me start by saying that for me, the gym is a scary place. It's very easy for me to go a few times and then never go back because I feel so out of place and uncomfortable. This was not my experience at hotworx. Katie was so nice and explained everything to me, and i genuinely started to enjoy going to the gym and working out! i love the virtual instructors and being able to work out in my own space and at a pace that works for me. definitely recommend hotworx!
April 12 · m eKatie was great- she gave me a tour that explained everything and was super kind and patient with my questions. Just starting my journey there but so far it is amazing!Update: the only negative thing I can say is that they only have one available bathroom for the entire gym- the other has been out of order for months with a broken door knob.
May 12 · Jodessa ThurmanI signed up for a membership with HOTWORKX at the Rockhill location on Thursday, April 10, 2025. My initial interaction was quite pleasant, filled with enthusiasm as I learned about the unique fitness offerings. However, the very next day—April 11, 2025—I discovered a HOTWORKX location much closer to my home in vibrant Midtown Saint Louis, which sparked my interest in switching my membership.Eager to explore this new option, I reached out to both locations to inquire about transferring my membership to the Midtown site. Unfortunately, I encountered a rather unpleasant experience with the Rockhill team. When I expressed my desire to cancel my membership, the team member I spoke with seemed more focused on dissuading me than on assisting me. Instead of facilitating my request, she persistently tried to convince me that cancellation wasn’t an option and suggested alternatives that didn't align with my needs.During my call with the manager at the Midtown location, I was informed that I had a 3-day cancellation clause in my HOTWORKX contract, a glimmer of hope that could resolve my situation. I brought this information back to the associate at the Rockhill location, only to be met with reluctance. She suggested I come in on Monday, April 14th, to officially cancel my membership, fully aware that my 3-day window would expire by then. This felt not only misleading but also dishonorable, leaving me frustrated. Moreover, the Rockhill associate made dubious claims about offering me a better membership price. Once I signed up at the Midtown location, I discovered that both memberships were priced the same. As I stood firm in my choice to cancel, her demeanor shifted, and she insultingly remarked, "Well, you didn't even pay a lot of money anyway," undermining my investment. Just to clarify, I had spent a total of $160 covering the membership, enrollment fee, mat, and towel—an amount that felt significant to me.The team member at the Midtown location was shocked by the treatment I received and listened intently to my account of the call with Rockhill. After our conversation, a team member from Rockhill took the initiative to call Midtown and insinuated that they were coaching me to cancel my membership, adding an unnecessary layer of conflict to the situation. Ultimately, Rockhill processed my cancellation and issued a refund of $49.While I genuinely believe that Rockhill can be an excellent location with a positive and energetic atmosphere for workouts, I was profoundly disappointed by how I was treated. The false claims and attempted manipulation felt entirely unwarranted; I simply wished to utilize the facility that was more convenient for my lifestyle.Though I remember the names of the team members from the Rockhill location, I will choose to refrain from mentioning them out of respect. I believe their actions were influenced by guidance from their manager, which ultimately led to this unfortunate encounter. I hope my experience never happen to anyone else.God Bless
