The infrared heat intensifies the workout, promoting a deeper stretch, increased flexibility, and significant detoxification. As one member shared, they love to do a 30-minute yoga session to "feel stronger, calmer, and just better all around."
Hot Pilates: These sessions use traditional Pilates principles to build core strength and improve posture. The addition of infrared heat helps to warm the muscles more effectively, allowing for a more profound and efficient workout.

The studio also includes a Functional Exercise (FX) Zone, an area with free weights, bands, and other equipment for additional training before or after your sauna session. This adds another layer of versatility to your routine. One review mentioned, "There is a free weight area with some great equipment if you want to get some weights in before/after your session. No bars. 1 bench. There is a TRX or something similar. More than enough to get some extra in." ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1favorite parts of the day. The workouts are super effective and I always leave feeling like I accomplished something big, even in just 30 minutes. The infrared heat makes such a difference. I sweat like crazy but in the best, most detoxifying way.I love that I can schedule sessions whenever it works for me. The variety of workouts keeps it fun. Some days I’m in the mood for Hot Yoga, other days it’s more about strength or Pilates. No matter what, I walk out feeling stronger, calmer, and just better all around. The studio is always spotless, the vibe is great, and the staff is super friendly. It’s honestly been a game-changer for my fitness routine. I can’t recommend it enough.
May 28 · Karina VillaIt's become an addiction! Recently, the gym I frequent has been overflowing with new members coming from local clubs that recently closed. I like my space, my zone, my area to get what needs to be done, done. I came to Hotworx because my sister has raved about her location in Missouri - that she loves it, really feeling great after her sessions. I just wanted to see what it was all about. Well.... needless to say it was everything I've ever needed and never knew. Trust me- come do a free personal workout. I promise it will click. You will understand it.You get access 24/7 via their app. Come anytime. You reserve a personal (up to 3 people) sauna with whichever pro-led 30/35 minute workout video you want to follow in that session. Only have a quick 15 minutes? There are 3 fifteen minute programs that include something like a spin, rowing, or elliptical top/spin legs mix. Then there are 6 or 7 other saunas that you select which workout you want to do- hot core? Hot stretch? Hot glutes? Hot yoga? Many others too! When you reserve the sauna- you can see if anyone else has booked it. If you see someone booked it- you can share a sauna with them, or choose another time slot/Video. I've never been with anyone in the slot I've wanted. Always been able to reserve alone. When you arrive, turn on your sauna and set the temperature you want - up to 130° for your session. Wait for the video to begin, and follow along. You will drip sweat! The combination of the slower controlled movement and heat are felt. We don't need a lot to make it efficient. We just need to follow along. When I have time- I love doing 2 sessions back to back. Sometimes a 30 min yoga then do some free weights. That's a pic of my Fitbit with 2 sessions back to back. Doing a hot stretch after one of those workouts feels AMAZING.There will generally be contests to earn raffles for free merch or sometimes a piece of equipment. The contest of the month board is up Can you tell I like the Hot Thunder Row - that's a 15-minute video. Make sure to have your glovesThere is a shower here. 1 of the bathrooms has a full shower and a body comp scale you can use if you want to.There is a free weight area with some great equipment if you want to get some weights in before/after your session. No bars. 1 bench. There is a TRX or something similar. More than enough to get some extra in. You don't reserve this area- It's just in the back, and always open. It's great! The staff at Libertyville are so helpful and always in such great moods. You will smile while walking in. Heck, you will smile from the parking lot. You will LOVE coming here! I'm still in the initial 90-day challenge since I signed up 2 weeks ago- but each workout is earning me some rewards that I can eventually turn into purchasing some workout cables or replacing a mat down the road.I'm addicted to this place... and I feel once u are here and experience it yourself- only then can you truly understand what I mean. They do require that you use only their Mats, bands, and cables.... but that is because the saunas can get damaged by outside equipment. You do need to purchase this when you sign up. It's like $80 if u want just the mat and towel. I opted for the upgraded kit, which came with bands, a bigger bench towel, a strap for the mat, and some other stuff. Just the mat carrier makes all the difference. The rest is a bonus 😂I'll try and post some pics, but just take them up on their free workout offer! don't work there and am not affiliated with Hotworks
June 14 · Liat EzraEveryone at HOTWORX Libertyville is great! I’ve been coming for a little over a month and they’re all so helpful. Nick is fantastic and worked with me over text for a few weeks to answer my questions before I finally worked up the courage to come in. Now I’m comfortable coming in and have enjoyed all of the sessions I’ve tried so far!
June 26 · Krystin McDermottJust started working out at HOTWORX about 1 month ago and I absolutely love it. It’s all the best things about a gym (sauna, classes, weights) in a small studio and which makes the workout more secluded and personalized. The staff is super friendly as well!
July 10 · Alex StephanNick gave me a tour of the HOTWORX facility and was so diligent in confirming my fitness goals, and preferences to make sure that they aligned with what HOTWORX has to offer. He was so helpful when it came to understanding all the benefits to HOTWORX between the infrared saunas and the flexibility of the class schedules. Such a great workout and an amazing staff!!
