★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have to disagree with the negative reviews here. My son started GymCats after a friend recommended it and we’ve had a very positive experience. He loves the classes, and we’ve found the instructors, although some younger, are very engaged with the students. The activities seem age appropriate and are repeated enough for adequate practice while also incorporating new things to keep the children engaged and interested. I’ve emailed questions to the program director Rachel when needed, and she’s always been very responsive and informative. All of the staff I’ve interacted with are friendly, articulate and knowledgeable. The space is large and the class curriculum seems balanced and well planned out.
December 02 · Amanda KeithWe were eagerly looking forward to visiting Gym Cats for my friend's son's birthday celebration. However, unfortunately, the experience was marred by the actions of the manager, which greatly disappointed all the party guests. The children were engaged in activities until 4:20, with the scheduled end time being 5pm. Following the playtime, everyone had to participate in eating, singing Happy Birthday, having cake, and cleaning up.During the cleanup process, Susie (an older Caucasian woman), who I presume is a staff member, became extremely hostile towards us because we weren't moving quickly enough. We were doing our best to clean up efficiently while also managing a group of 15 toddlers. Her behavior was disrespectful and obnoxious, especially in front of the children, and it made everyone feel extremely uncomfortable. Even when politely asked to calm down, Susie became even more hostile and continuously reminded us of the contract, implying that we weren't moving as quickly as required. To make matters worse, when my friend returned to tip the staff despite the unpleasant encounter with the manager, she was informed that she is now banned from Gym Cats. My friend is known for her mild-mannered nature and did not argue or become hostile with Susie. It is truly unbelievable that she is now banned from the establishment.Even if my friend hadn't been banned, we would have no desire to return to Gym Cats after this experience. If you expect to be treated with basic decency, I would strongly advise against wasting your time at this establishment.
March 19 · Ashley NixonGymcats has an amazing team of coaches that take care of your kids as they would do of their own. Our daughter loves to train there and improves class after class. It’s a great place and she never wants to leave!
December 02 · Andrea BadinoJohn, Rachael and the rest of the coaches at GymCats have helped our daughter develop her individual gymnastics skills while learning how to be part of a team. I highly recommend this gym to any parents looking for a place where their kids can have fun and practice a competitive sport.
December 03 · Nico KicillofMy daughter likes this but let’s face it it’s just a bunch of teenagers watching them jump around. If you’re hoping for some real gymnastics fundamentals and form I don’t think this is the place. Very disappointed that none of the trainers seem to have formal gymnastics trainer and there isn’t a supervisor on staff that is available to interact with the kids.Would be more satisfied if the younger staff warmed up and played with the kids but then transitioned them to more experienced staff. Sometimes the younger instructors are not super attentive and I see my child spending a lot of time sitting around waiting for instructions.I am curious to know what training looks like for them.
