★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Gritt is the place to go! It is not a quick fix but with the coaching from all the trainers and the kickboxing/strength training classes you will reach your goal in no time! The trainers are incredible! They will do what is best for you and only you. Also they aren’t there just for weight loss or toning up, they are also very understanding and attentive to what is happening outside of the studio in your life which could affect your fitness journey so if you feel like having a therapy session (😆) and working to better yourself in all aspects: weight loss, mental strength, emotional strength, tone up, etc well then I highly recommend joining Gritt and be part of this fabulous family!! - I joined Gritt NY in East Islip at the end of 2022. I’ve always wanted to take a kickboxing class to supplement with my weight lifting routine. Gritt is a family. Sarai is a great owner, instructor and friend. If you are looking for a kickboxing class that kicks your ass in a good way, stop by the studio. I love the kickboxing and HIIT classes. - I have been going to Gritt for almost a year now it was one of the best decisions. Sarai is an amazing coach who's very understanding & supportive. A few years ago i had a surgery that left me with no abdomen muscles and I thought I wouldn’t be able to do a sit up ever again but thanks to Sarai helping me rebuild my abdomen muscles i am now able to do sit up again after 5 years. - Absolutely LOVE GRITT! ♥️ Found this place about 2 years ago when I was looking for a new kickboxing studio as the one I used to go to was too far from my home. I did try one place first (a chain kickboxing studio) and felt so uncomfortable with so many things (from the owner, to the favoritism in classes, etc)—it just felt awkward to be there. After “pulling teeth”, I was able to cancel my membership at that place and went on the hunt again for another studio.After googling, I found GRITT so I reached out and went to the studio to meet Sarai (the owner). One could tell she has such a passion and care for fitness, Her heart is in her studio and those who come through her doors. I gave GRITT a try and within a day, I got a membership and have been a member since (started in 2023). Sarai and all her instructors are always so welcoming, encouraging, etc. And those who attend the classes are just as warm and kind. Everyone helps one another and encourages each other, which is something I love. The studio itself is clean and there are a bunch of times to choose from for class. They also do so much giving back to the community which I absolutely love too! If you are looking for an encouraging community with a dedicated owner and awesome instructors whose hearts are “all in” to helping you become the best version of yourself, GRITT is your place! - I’ve been a member at Gritt for almost 3 years and I couldn’t be more impressed with my results. The workouts have helped me build muscle and significantly improve my endurance. The coaches are motivating and knowledgeable. Every workout is challenging but accessible to all fitness levels.
