Gold’s Gym Camas Introduce
Welcome to the ever-evolving fitness landscape of Washington, where residents have a variety of options for pursuing their health and wellness goals. In the Camas area, one name that has a long history in the industry is Gold’s Gym. This facility, part of a globally recognized brand, offers a range of services and amenities that appeal to a wide audience, from seasoned lifters to those just starting their fitness journey.
Gold's Gym in Camas aims to provide a comprehensive fitness experience under one roof. The facility is equipped to handle various types of workouts and training styles, making it a versatile choice for many. While some members have noted that the gym may be in need of an overhaul and that some maintenance issues are apparent, the sheer number of amenities available is a major draw. The club offers a full gym floor, a swimming pool, and even a basketball court, which are all significant features for a local gym. The gym's owner is reported to be aware of the issues, which raises questions about the prioritization of maintenance and upkeep. Despite these concerns, some members and visitors have also experienced a high level of customer service from the staff, which can make a significant positive impact on their experience.
The gym's reputation is a mixed bag, with some serious complaints about the facility's condition, including broken equipment, leaks, and signs of neglect. These issues have led some members to voice their dissatisfaction publicly and consider other options. However, it's also worth noting that some individuals have had very positive experiences, particularly with the staff at the front desk. For example, a heartwarming review highlights how a front desk employee, Tyler, showed great empathy and accommodation by allowing people to park in the gym's lot during a difficult time, even when signs indicated no parking was permitted. This kind of human kindness can sometimes offset other negative aspects, as it points to the quality of the people running the day-to-day operations.
The gym operates on a membership-required basis, and potential members should be diligent in understanding all the terms and conditions before signing up. The diverse offerings, including personal training and group classes, can be appealing, but it's crucial for prospective members to visit the facility in person and assess its current condition to ensure it meets their personal standards for cleanliness and safety. The presence of a pool and a basketball court, along with a sauna and child care services, makes this gym a viable option for families and those seeking more than just a place to lift weights. The variety of amenities is one of the main reasons people choose this gym over others, as it provides a one-stop solution for different types of fitness and recreational activities.

Choosing a gym in Washington requires careful consideration of both the facilities and the community. For residents in the Camas area, Gold’s Gym offers a compelling range of services that can appeal to a wide variety of fitness enthusiasts. The most notable features are the extensive amenities, which include a swimming pool, basketball court, and sauna. These facilities provide options that go beyond a standard gym floor, offering a more well-rounded fitness and recreational experience. The availability of child care is a significant benefit for parents who need a safe place for their children while they work out.
However, it's crucial for prospective members to be aware of the mixed reviews regarding the facility's condition. While the staff at the front desk, such as Tyler, are praised for their kindness and excellent customer service, the overall state of the equipment and building has been a point of concern for some. It is highly recommended that anyone considering a membership visit the gym in person to see if the current conditions meet their expectations. The availability of personal training and a variety of classes is a strong draw for those seeking guidance in their fitness journey. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is a dump.Machines break and sit unusable for months like abandoned junk. The ceiling leaks water like it’s some kind of indoor rain feature nobody asked for. There are literal holes in the walls, mold in the bathrooms, and burnt out light bulbs all over the place. The owner is well aware of all of this and simply doesn’t care — greed over member safety, every time. This isn’t just bad business, it’s an insult to anyone paying to be here. The conditions are unsanitary, unsafe, and absolutely unacceptable. This disaster of a gym should be overhauled immediately. I’ll be contacting Gold’s Gym corporate, the county health department, and OSHA.The online reviews don’t lie — this place is a one-star health hazard barely masquerading as a gym. Save your money, save your time, and go anywhere else. Try Cascade athletic Club instead.
August 11 · Aleem AbdulhayogluI needed to park here for my Good friends child's celebration of life across the street I never actually used their services but the amount of empathy that Tyler shown to me and a bunch of some other people trying to park in the parking lot where unfortunately he had signs that said NO parking but Tyler approved it and was extremely cool about it. Seriously highly recommend this place just for the sheer fact it had good people running the front desk well and they have a pool pretty neat
September 15 · Joe. “JoeDontYouKnow” Novoa**UPDATE*****PHOTOS OF TANNING ROOM**This place has the most condescending/rude manager (Julissa). Who is a scammer and has absolutely no compassion or common courtesy towards other people whatsoever. I cannot for the life of me understand how she ended up working with the public?*******Do not join this gym! It is the biggest rip-off! Starting with how extremely unsanitary, disgusting and dirty everything is. They literally charge the highest amount legally for late fees in the state of Washington. Their tanning bed has been broken for a month, I was not informed on how long it would be. Just told "its broken" I hadn't tanned all month. Yet when it came time to pay my bill I'm still getting charged the extra $30 for tanning? I call to talk to somebody and the kid says that "you're not the only one who complained, and it's not fair" he took my name and number saying " ill have a manager call you back" but does that happen?? NO and now that they tried to take the money out of my bank account I have been charged so many late fees that my bill is now double the cost of the package I should have been charged for ( now $100). I call back, the kid tells me I should have switched my package as soon as I found out the tanning bed was not working. Oh but now that would cost me $30 to do! Not only that you cannot cancel unless you are all paid up and it has to be 30 days before your next bill. So they lock you into it, without giving you any of the services you paid for. The place is disgusting and dirty none of the machines are upgraded. Then you go over to the mall location and they have two tanning beds! Like 100 machines a movie theater!!! Clearly when I got into this mess definitely didn't expect to have to find a way to get to another location which is 20 minutes away whenever I want to work out on a quality machine or tan period!!! Scam!!!! I'm going to do everything I can to let everyone I know, (which is a lot not local people considering I work with public) know to NEVER JOIN GOLDS GYM!!!!!*****Answer to the reply***I guess my main concern is why is it my responsibility to pay for the time where I could not use the tanning bed. If it was out of anybody's control it was out of my control. Be not being the one who broke it, why do I have to pay for the inconvenience on your end? Also almost a month to field a crack in the glass. I was told I was going to get a phone call from a manager. Even your employee agreed and mentioned I'm not the only one who doesn't want to pay for the inconvenience. It was not a problem with my bank or my cash app. And how rude to even suggest that I didn't have the funds in my account or issues with whom i bank with on a public platform like this. Which shows exactly how unprofessional your company is! I wasn't prepared to pay for something I didn't use and was waiting to hear from my manager like your employee suggested. Your manager Julissa is unprofessional and condescending.
January 08 · Cass B.Signed my son up for swimming lessons. Then read in the fine print that they fail students multiples times due to the large amount of skills they need to learn in an extremely short class, causing them to have to repeat the same classes over and over before they pass to the next level. I think this is a horrible way to encourage a child in learning new skills, and I found another pool that focuses on smaller goals that the child can pass in each class. The gym refused to refund me, even though I gave them 10 days notice that I would like to cancel and there was a waitlist for this class. I think this is the worst refund policy I have ever encountered. They seem to think it is ethical to keep money for services that a person no longer wants rendered.
June 27 · Diana NapoleonIf you like a gym with physical holes in the wall, dirty showers with no soap, and deflated basketballs, all while charging exorbitant rates and annual fees, this is the gym for you. Oh and good luck canceling. They’ll gladly take your money to sign you up on location, but will make you jump through endless hoops to cancel while continuing to charge you.
