★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Gold Line South Pasadena was my introduction to Pilates and I’m so grateful for the experience and wisdom offered in this space! I feel a whole new appreciation for my body and am so glad I found a work out that really makes me feel good. If you want to take it easier, level 1 is great, challenging but mindful and restorative and if you need to turn up the intensity level 2 is excellent. All the instructors are very attentive, informative and all around lovely people. Highly recommend for any level of Pilates experience!
April 28 · Shannon LayTaking class and privates with Kat has been such a fun and satisfying workout experience. Her expertise as a Pilates instructor has been extremely beneficial for my Pilates practice; she’s supported and navigated injuries with skill, ease and compassion. She makes the time fly by, sessions with Kat are an absolute blast. The studio is pristine, the machines move like butter and there is every prop you could possibly need. Parking is so easy. Love that this studio is woman-owned, Melissa has created a welcoming environment to get in a great workout.
April 03 · Alyson RouxI love working with Lolly from Gold Line!I recently moved to East LA from Brooklyn and was recommended to Gold Line through a trusted friend who has been going there for years. After the first session with Lolly, I knew this was going to be a good fit and have been doing private sessions with her every week for the past 9 months.I have done Pilates off and on my entire life, and what has set this experience apart is that Lolly approaches Pilates holistically. I've taken Reiki and Somatic Healing sessions with her as well, and it has made a huge difference for me. It has improved my posture, helped me to understand where I hold stress in my body and how to manage it, and how to focus on certain muscles to avoid injury.Through a regular routine of working with Lolly on the reformer, I've seen a big difference in my body in terms of strength and tone, and I can tell my tennis game has improved because I'm more mindful of my breathing and technique. As an added bonus, both locations are great---the Pasadena location is next to Whole Foods, and the South Pas location is across the street from Bristol Farms.Super convenient for healthy eating!
May 02 · Jan JensenThis is my favorite studio in the Pasadena area! I love the instructors, especially Jenifer and Lolly. Lolly’s mindful flow class always leaves me feeling taller and centered in my body. I feel better mentally, emotionally and physically. I’ve been taking reformer Pilates classes for years and with these instructors I finally feel like I’m engaging the right muscles and building strength and flexibility in a way I never have before.
April 28 · Tahlia HarbourI love everything about this Pilates studio. I’m very new to the world of Pilates and I appreciate how intimate the classes are. Ana, a private instructor really provided me with the right foundation and confidence to begin group classes. Group classes can be intimidating but thanks to Ana’s encouragement, my Pilates journey flourished. All teachers are amazing and vary in how they instruct. Lolly’s classes happen to be super meditative and mindful. I appreciate her integration of a somatic relaxing yet physically strengthening practice all in one! She also emphasizes teaching us about our anatomy which I also find to her super helpful!
