★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I took a beginners yoga class with Jamie at Gateway Yoga and really enjoyed it! The music was great and the lavender towels at the end were a very nice touch! If you place one of their stones near your mat you are able to receive hands on guidance which is another great benefit. I can tell they have a wonderful community of instructors and members at this yoga studio! Highly recommend!
February 02 · Natasha McGuireI really like the community here. I typically take the Beats N Power Flow class, but have also tried some Slow Flows as well. When I started attending classes here, I wasn't too excited about doing sequences that are typically the same each time because I worry about getting bored. However, I soon learned that each instructor is capable of putting their own spin on each class and some are so good that I get lost in the flow and don't get bored at all.Don't be too scared by the "hot" label. I've been to other places locally and elsewhere in the US and I would describe these hot classes as more of a warm option, especially in the winter. I imagine the summer heat will help heat the classes during those months.I especially love Mary Jo and Sydney's classes. They are true Flow Masters! They are so eloquent in their sequence edits and their ability to make each class their own unique style. I love their playlists as well.I've also had a chance to take a workshop here and loved it. I generally look for studios that do workshops to allow people to work on the more difficult poses, and they are more difficult to find than one would expect. The headstand workshop here was so great and the instructor made something scary feel so much more approachable and doable. I plan to attend many more of these workshops in the future.
May 05 · Cassandra PinaireI have been fortunate to have been a member of Gateway Yoga for many many years. This studio brings me joy every class. The community here is one of the main reasons I come. The Teachers are excellent and really know their stuff.Because of this studio, I continue to be strong and love working in my garden, pushing myself, and do things most people my age stop doing.I feel welcome every time I walk in the door.I had shoulder surgery last year and as soon as rehab was over, I returned to yoga and never have I felt better. If you want to be part of an amazing community, Gateway Yoga is for you.
November 22 · Patricia BrennanFirst time visiting Gateway yoga, and I’m happy to leave a great review. Such a welcoming atmosphere and students were of every level and we were made to feel very comfortable to modify what we needed to. Highly recommend.
January 17 · Becky FinchI unfortunately took a yoga hiatus for about 3 years and I wanted to start up again. I'm so glad I found Gateway Yoga! Everyone there is friendly, helpful and accommodating as I dive back into yoga. I love the variety of classes to choose from and every instructor I've had is wonderful. It is truly a wonderful yoga community!
