This blend of expertise and encouragement is what makes the classes so effective. After just a couple of weeks, new students have noticed improvements in their strength, posture, and overall energy. This kind of tangible progress is what makes FOUR Pilates a premier destination for anyone serious about improving their health and well-being through a practice that is both physically demanding and mentally restorative.

They guide you through each session with clear, encouraging instruction, making sure you feel confident and supported, no matter your experience level. As someone completely new to Pilates, I was amazed at how quickly I started to see and feel results. April 18 · Charlotte JonkerThis was my first time taking a pilates class and it was awesome! The group reformer is only 4 people so you receive more attention. As a beginner the class was challenging but still a friendly and supportive environment. Highly recommend and happy to support black women businesses!
July 12 · Melissa PearsonBeautiful studio, great vibe, and an amazing full-body workout every time. Instructors are super knowledgeable and welcoming. Love that it’s Black-owned too! It is definitely one of my favorite spots in D.C. for Pilates.
August 03 · Erica Cromer-WattsI LOVE the simplicity of this studio and its location! It’s right to the point. Also I’ve tried almost every instructor and they’ve all been a challenge in the best way. I’m a yoga girl who has avoided Pilates due to fear but my curiosity and leg injury made me take the leap with mat Pilates. So glad I did! I also LOVE how Ceara challenges you in even the beginner class 🥵! I can’t stop now!
July 02 · Jordan AaronAs a person who has never done pilates before, I began trying Four Pilates as a way to incorporate something different into my strength training routine. I kid you not every single instructor is PHENOMENAL and so kind and shows patience to every client. Each instructor I have taken a mat class (Ceara, Jennifer, MiKayla, and Mintyce) with continues to show care about my form and use of breathing. I began going around 2-3x a week about 4 weeks ago through a first time student mat package and have already noticed the difference in terms of my posture, endurance and core strength… The classes will have you sweating for sure. So if you have the opportunity to go, please try a class out! Four Pilates is absolutely wonderful!!
