Fitiquity Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For California residents in the Burbank area, Fitiquity is a modern, full-service fitness center that distinguishes itself by combining professional-grade equipment with a deeply personal, community-focused approach. More than just a place to work out, Fitiquity—a name derived from "fitness" and "equity"—is a mission-driven center promoting body positivity and self-care, striving to make fitness an easy and fulfilling part of a healthy lifestyle. This is a crucial distinction in the competitive Southern California fitness market.
Fitiquity is proudly identified as a Black-owned, family-run business, co-founded by brothers Tisto and Trent Chapman, who have over 35 years of experience in the gym world. The facility, which opened in June 2020, operates as a family affair, with their sons also involved as trainers and co-operators. This family dedication translates into a supportive atmosphere where members feel "welcomed and seen." With a large, clean, and well-equipped facility, Fitiquity offers everything from updated cardio machines and extensive free weights to a dedicated studio for classes and a full-size boxing ring, catering equally to men and women seeking diverse training options.
Location and Accessibility
Fitiquity is strategically located at 2010 N Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505, USA, placing it conveniently near the intersection of Hollywood Way and Victory Blvd. This central location in Burbank makes it highly accessible for residents of the San Fernando Valley, including those commuting from nearby areas. The generous and ample available parking is a significant plus, eliminating the stress of finding a spot typical in busy California metros.
Commitment to inclusivity is a core aspect of the facility’s planning. Fitiquity provides a completely accessible environment for all members and visitors, featuring a wheelchair accessible entrance, a dedicated wheelchair accessible parking lot, and a wheelchair accessible restroom. Furthermore, the large facility benefits from excellent airflow, often having large doors open near the boxing ring, which members praise for providing a fresh environment and preventing the typical "weird gym smell."

What is Worth Choosing
For residents of California looking for a gym in the Burbank area, Fitiquity offers a compelling and multi-faceted value proposition that makes it a superior choice over standard big-box competitors. The primary reason to choose Fitiquity is its dedication to community and equity, combined with exceptional facilities and zero-commitment pricing.
Firstly, this is a fitness center built on personalized care. Being a family-owned, Black-owned business, the culture here is intentionally different—it’s about connection. Members consistently note that they "feel safe here" and are "happy to come multiple times a week" because the staff treats them like family, fostering a sense of belonging that is often missing in other gyms. This welcoming environment, free from the judgment and pressure found elsewhere, is ideal for both men and women at any stage of their fitness journey.
Secondly, the value of the all-inclusive, no-contract membership is outstanding. For one affordable monthly fee (which is discounted further when signing up with a friend), members gain unlimited access to the full facility and all the premium classes—Zumba, Cycling, Aerobics, Boxing, and more—which are often add-ons at other gyms. The facilities themselves are praised for their cleanliness, great equipment, and the unique addition of a full-scale boxing ring and spacious studios. When considering the expert guidance from trainers with decades of experience, the diverse class schedule, and the comfort of a clean, well-aired space, Fitiquity stands out as the ultimate destination in Burbank for holistic fitness where getting and staying fit is genuinely easy and fulfilling.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My name is Frankie Howell and I live in okla. I'm retired senior and have never been to burbank but 39.95 charges are appearing on my bank statement. I've call 15 times to reach Trent the manager but he is never in and won't return my calls. This is fraud and I'm going to the police
September 22 · Frankie HicksonStarted here at the top of the year, and I absolutely love it. Good people, clean machines and ample workout space with the floor and the studio up front. Great equipment, and the weights go high. Theres also a lot of fun different equipment for those looking for less traditional workouts. And I love that the large doors are always open near the boxing ring in the back— perfect airflow and no weird gym smell. This is a great gym for men and women alike. I feel safe here and happy to come multiple times a week.
February 28 · Jen OlivaresI’ve been going to this gym for a month now, and I really enjoy it! It’s a clean and friendly environment to train. I highly recommend this gym!!
June 27 · Sabrina AlffMy favorite gym to this day. I’ve been to may gyms in my day and by far this is my favorite. The temperature is always perfect. There is fresh air being circulated through the gym. You can literally feel the wind on your body. The staff is all great. They have all the equipment I need, and it’s never too crowded.
April 19 · David GrigorianI've only been a member for a few months but its not busy when I go. Its clean. There is plenty of cardio equipment. The staff has been nice and friendly. So far its great!
