★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Mel L. is a wonderful coach! She’s thoroughly and detailed in how she explains and demonstrates every movement, gives alternatives depending on where you’re at in your journey, reminds you if your form needs a little adjusting, and is generally an absolutely joy to be in class with. I look forward to class with her and everyone else every week.
August 22 · Christina DirienzoMel A is always great!! Love her enthusiasm, encouragement, and the way she outlines the workout and demonstrates all the exercises. She makes the workouts fun and keeps things positive so even when you’re working hard and getting tired you want to keep going.
July 01 · nancy dCasey was awesome! She explained the warm up and workout clearly and concisely and class flowed nicely from start to finish. She has a great attitude and coaching presence! Class was challenging and fun. Great way to start off my weekend!
August 09 · Leah RyanThis was my first session with Mel. Butts and Guts kicked my butt! But it was a great introduction: she encouraged us to go at our own pace, take breaks as needed, answered any questions I had and repeated demos.Very supportive environment and while it was challenging, I felt I would be able to complete the session and was very stoked when I got it done.
August 07 · Steve DushenkoI have been to many CrossFit-type gyms around the country and this is by far the best one. Firstly it is in a nice big airy space with ample equipment and good air flow. Secondly, the atmosphere is so laid back and welcoming… the people I met here aren’t a bunch of muscle-bound fitness snobs, they come in all shapes and sizes and ages and ability levels and they are actually friendly! Thirdly the coaches here are super approachable and supportive, they meet you where you are at and do an excellent job of being both encouraging and accommodating. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy I very much appreciate the lengths the coaches will go to make a workout safe for everyone in the class. If you like group fitness, look no further, this is the place for you!
