★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The equipment here is fine, but the atmosphere is not. The TV is locked on Fox News—essentially partisan political entertainment, not balanced journalism. A gym should be a neutral, welcoming space for all members, not a place where one political perspective is forced on everyone. I don’t want to be subjected to racist propaganda while trying to focus on my workout.
September 04 · Rita MuluI left the YMCA to join Crunch. Overall I like what crunch has to offer. Unfortunately, most of the classes/instructors are not what I’d hope for. I personally continue my membership for the hot Pilates with Aubrey once a week, I also enjoy a few others like Rosie and Makele who push you and provide a strong workout class. The rest of the instructors can barely do the workout they are showing us or have to read their paper before moving on to the next exercise. Today, myInstructor was resting while telling us to continue a position. I left the class early because it’s a hot class and I wasn’t even sweating. Early morning spin class hasn’t been an option for me personally in a while because I’m not comfortable with the transgender Instructor. I’ve just avoided this class but I shouldn’t have to skip 5:45AM spin class every week because she is usually the instructor.
September 12 · Danyella PayneCrunch fitness has been such an incredible blessing to me as a new mother. I have an 18 month old baby, and literally the day he turned 1 (which is when he could go begin going) I was there! The staff have been so sweet and friendly, they always love seeing him and have helped him and I with this transition of going to the kids zone. He’s never been to day care or anything at all so he first cried when I would drop him off, but as we continued working on it he got better and better at drop offs. Now he LOVES going into the kid zone and he has so much fun! He especially loves Ms. Deb and tries to take a nap on her even when it’s not anywhere close to nap time! Haha :)A major part of my comfort level at Crunch is their policies. They do not diaper kids, they will ask the parents to come change the diaper if there is one. They also don’t do any snacks, and when my baby was 1 he was gagging whenever I tried to feed him real food and I felt so relieved that they wouldn’t try to feed him there. I can also check on him anytime through the glass. The staff always gives me a thumbs up that he’s doing good when I check.I love that I get a whole hour and a half to work out, shower, and get a massage! As a new mom getting no sleep and dealing with such a huge transition in life, to get a massage and take a shower in peace is truly incredible! I’m very grateful for Crunch fitness, it truly has made a difference for me in this challenging time of my life. Deb and Maddie are the staff members I’ve talked with most and they are always cheering me on and empathizing with me about mom life. :)
August 01 · Maddie BerceGreat gym, they offer a different classes from HIIT to hot classes and cycling. I do wish there were more 11 o’clock hot and cycling classes consistently Monday - Friday unfortunately I am not a super early bird but also work in the afternoon noon. The hot studio mobility class was my favorite and I would love for them to bring it back. Also last time I was in the hit studio this past week it wasn’t as hot as usual it was just warm, hopefully that is fixed this upcoming week. The classes and sauna are my favorite but the gym also has an abundance of machines and benches so you don’t have to wait around to do your sets which is also really nice because I can get impatient and just skip sets completely if I have to wait too long. Great gym. Would like more classes.
August 25 · Emily FryThis gym might put PF out of business. You get 5 times the equipment, classes, sauna, boxing, yoga etc for the same price. 3 different membership options. Spin classes have been fun, A and Kylie really get you going.
