★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I visited this gym in Tribeca during rush hour on a workday and it was pretty packed, machines are kind of together, so it can feel a bit cramped. The gym is spread over a few floors with the top floor is all cardio, the second floor has muscle-building machines plus a yoga room, and the third floor offers open spaces for personal workouts along with the locker rooms. The locker rooms are spacious with big showers and plenty of large lockers, which is great for winter. I only saw one water machine on the second floor, which isn’t the most convenient. The ventilation isn’t great like it felt stuffy and room temp. Also, at least half of the cardio machines, mostly the treadmills, were pretty old and squeaky. But the gym is clean, with plenty of wipe stations, and everyone is good about wiping down machines.
February 26 · Becky ZhangWhile in NYC for business, I got a day pass at Crunch Fitness on the days I worked out, and it was such a great experience! The staff were super friendly and really focused on making sure everyone felt welcome. One thing I loved, especially compared to gyms in Germany, was the free towels—such a nice touch! The location was super convenient, and the gym had everything I needed for a solid workout. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone visiting the city!
December 18 · azer bozogluI just moved to NYC. I searched for a him I could call my second home and I found it here at Crunch. First and foremost the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The gym itself has all the equipment I may need. It's never messy. I get there about 5:15 am most days so it's very easy to train. There are lockers for your belongings. Showers. I haven't had any bad experiences here. It's a place for folks who just wanna train hard.
May 16 · Star ThomasKeonna at the front desk is the best! Always cheerful whenever I come to this gym.The floors are spotless and fresh towels are constantly being stocked. I haven’t had to wait to get on a treadmill 🙂 as I think most people use the second floor for weights.
March 18 · Jess TamI came into this location to join this gym. I walked in around 10am in the morning. I signed in as a guest and waited 10-15minutes with no assistance on helping me sign up for this gym. It seems like their staff here frown their noises and turn the other way when they see a brown complexation person in this facility. Its not an expensive member ship so I don't the bougie-ness with how the staff act at this location maybe because it's on this street they feel important. I would to another location with professional workers and better customer service. It's funny how they have a sign big on the wall behind the front desk that reads "NO JUDGEMNET." I felt JUDGED as soon as i walked in. Crunch needs to do better at picking better staff to represent your business. We must stay humble I mean after all it's only CRUNCH gym. P.S the handsome black ma at the front desk with the long beautiful dreads was very nice and too bad he could not help me.
