June 03 · Justin WelchI am from out of town, here on vacation, and was hoping to still get in some CrossFit workouts. It is always a little nerve-racking when you walk into a new gym. But I was greeted with many friendly faces and kindness. Fellow classmate Scott, and coach/classmate Libby were especially welcoming and helpful.The gym has a great setup, was clean and well kept. The workout was solid. The owner/manager (not sure which) was very responsive via text. I'd come back here in a heartbeat.

My ability and desire to do “RX” workouts has shifted over time sothe coaches help create modifications or alternatives that work for me. I would highly recommend CFH to anyone searching for a supportive community to help you achieve your fitness goals.

For the past few years, I have been on an anti-diet journey, embracing concepts like intuitive eating. I joined the challenge because I wanted more info and guidance on how my meals and food could fuel my workouts, and how I could build lean muscle while losing some body fat--all without depriving myself. Through the challenge, I picked up some great tips and insights and made progress against my goals. It was super helpful to have the community support and to have the app to hold me accountable. My biggest achievement so far is that I'm doing it all, eating well and feeling satisfied, without lapsing into my old negative habits and patterns!
