Have been a CorePower member for 4 or so years and used to go much more often. The company is frequently updating their terms and conditions and then doing sketchy things. Examples include: increasing the "locked-in" monthly membership price and raising the amount of time before a class you can cancel without paying a fee. You also used to be able to pause your membership for free, but now they make you pay $15/month even while inactive. The studio can be kind of gross, but worse the mats are very close together, which makes it hard to feel comfortable and flow if you're taller. It's really hard to get into the right headspace if you're constantly worried about kicking the person behind you.I have had a really good experience with teachers here and at other locations around the city, and I think those teachers are quite underpaid for the effort, energy, and time they put into it.I'm so tired of every private equity-owned company soullessly extracting as much of my money as they possibly can at every turn. - Christine Betts
