CorePower Yoga - Bryant Park is a worthwhile choice for New Yorkers seeking a fitness-focused yoga practice in a vibrant, community-oriented setting. While some members have noted concerns about cleanliness and studio maintenance, particularly during peak hours, and some have experienced issues with the rigid cancellation policy, these issues can be viewed as part of the challenges of operating a high-traffic studio in a major city. The price point is a factor, but many find that the variety of classes, the quality of instruction, and the convenience of the location justify the investment. The unique blend of yoga and strength training provides a comprehensive workout that can lead to significant improvements in both physical and mental well-being. The community atmosphere, with its focus on inclusivity and encouragement, makes it an attractive option for those who want more than just a workout. Ultimately, what is worth choosing is a place that offers a genuine path to better health, and for many, CorePower's transformative classes and supportive environment provide just that. It's a place to push your limits, find your flow, and connect with a community of people dedicated to their own wellness journeys. For a busy New Yorker, this blend of intensity, convenience, and community can be a powerful antidote to the demands of city life.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Avoid at all costs!!! I’ve experienced a teacher straight up not showing up with no replacement, broken showers for a weeks, and last week a broken speaker that makes erratic construction level noise (video attached, but it’s loud enough to hurt your ears). The worst part? Corepower will not give any sort of notice or refund for any of these situations. This is a gross violation of the customer contract - people pay money under the assumption that they will actually able to attend the classes.I just emailed asking if at the very least they can let me know which classes will be be held in the studio with broken speakers, and they said sorry they cannot (??) and they will not be canceling the classes. This is a very very low bar that they’re not passing, and really shows they do not care about customer experiences or potentially customer safety (I’m not exaggerating when I say people’s ears are not safe in that room - my ears were ringing when I stuck it out for a class, and I have no doubt they haven’t checked the decibel levels). As the cherry on top, they require a “30-day notice” for cancellation under any circumstance so I have to pay a month’s fee even if I don’t attend a single class. Obviously I will not be returning.
December 07 · Chae Won LeeThe studio really needs to be cleaned, there’s mold by the windows and the ceiling in the bathroom looks very dirty, showers were grimey . The mats stink and are sticky. for the price point of $250 /month or $40 a class CP really needs to have a professional cleaning company come thoroughly clean, not just teachers and students on a discounted membership. This is how people get sick.
November 17 · Olivia BThe experience here really depends on the instructor. One of the instructors were just striaght up rude/passive aggressive. Take Brooke's class. I know she's awesome.
February 22 · Yujin ChoMy C2 experience with SHAVANI was mind blowing. I really enjoyed her energy and style. I felt so blessed with the knowledge and experience Shavani brought to practice. I've been practicing for 7 years with Corepower Yoga and have been to afraid to dive deeper into learning other styles. I appreciated the different nuances in style and form. With the heat turned down, Shavani really didn't do too much for me to break out in to a sweat. It was a mind boggling experience to have myself drip that much in such a short period, Mahalo Shavani! Thank you for sharing your practice. Your voice has resonated with me in my practice and I continue to take away exercising not just my body but my mind as well.
October 18 · Gino PascualI rarely give bad reviews, unless a business or service does horrible things. Core power won’t give me the senior discount since I found out a day later after my sign up that such discount exists. They also had me on hold for 20 min and the instructor today was screaming. Such butchering of something that is supposed to be calming and zen. I have done yoga for 30 years and these folks need to go learn what yoga is. There are great classes by Marco Rojas , yoga Shack, yoga society and other. I have adjusted this review because core power corrected the error and gave me credit. Hope core power will let new members know what benefits are available to them. Thank you.
