★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been attending the free community classes held every Sunday for two weeks now. It’s been an incredible experience, great instructors, clean, very warm and welcoming environment and knowledgeable staff. Thinking of becoming a member soon to continue this journey.
January 19 · DominickI’ve been a dedicated CorePower Yoga Sculpt attendee, with over 140 classes under my belt, but my recent experience with Mara at the Belltown studio left me deeply disappointed. I requested dimmer lighting during class, as it creates a more relaxing atmosphere—something I know many members prefer. Mara was dismissive, questioning my request and insisting that bright lights are necessary for the class. Most instructors I’ve taken classes with start with dim lights and gradually brighten them, which creates a much better experience. Her refusal to adapt felt rigid and out of touch with the inclusive and welcoming vibe CorePower typically fosters. Her overall approach also seemed disconnected from the demographic of the class, which was mostly younger people. Yoga Sculpt is meant to be high-energy, with motivating music and a challenging workout. Unfortunately, her class lacked all of that—the room was much cooler than the typical 91°F for hot yoga (it was around 83°F), I didn’t even break a sweat, and the music was slow and uninspiring. It didn’t feel like Yoga Sculpt at all. This experience, especially on Thanksgiving, left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope the studio takes feedback seriously and works with instructors like Mara to improve the experience so it aligns with CorePower’s usual high standards.
November 28 · Srishti BhallaI have been a member of CorePower for years and love the consistency in quality teachers, great locations, and a great workout! Shoutout to Kit, Kristy, Stacy, Auz and many other wonderful teachers at this studio. Highly recommend becoming a member if you aren't already to enjoy their variety of yoga classes. especially sculpt if you want something with weights/cardio.
January 09 · Brooke AgatherI arrived for my class a few minutes late and the door was locked. They don’t have a pin pad for you to let yourself in and they had no one at the reception desk either. I tried to get in touch with studio by calling their number, and it is out of commission. There are plenty of reasons why you might be running late for a class and most other studios are accommodating and understanding. It seems like core power rigidly sticks to their policies without providing any solutions or even a way to inform them. I couldn’t get in touch with them prior to class because their number doesn’t work. Won’t be going back and would not recommend!
August 07 · Garvita RaiI've really enjoyed this studio and how welcoming the instructors are to everyone. I struggle with pain in my lower back and they offer a lot of alternatives to poses to help me protect my body. I also love the challenge each class/instructor brings! They all have a different style and flow that brings something new to each class. The temperature level of their hot yoga class also works well for me.
