Its accessibility is a key factor in its appeal, helping to integrate mindful movement into the busy lives of Washingtonians.
Services Offered
Commune Yoga is committed to providing a diverse range of classes to suit different needs and preferences. Their offerings are designed to cater to various levels, from beginner to advanced. They understand that life can be busy, which is why they offer a blend of in-studio and online classes. This hybrid approach ensures that no matter where you are—whether at the studio or in the comfort of your home—you can find a class that fits your schedule. The variety of classes is a highlight, allowing you to choose a style that resonates with your personal practice goals.
In-Studio Classes: These are held at the physical studio location, offering a traditional and immersive yoga experience. The studio environment is crafted to be welcoming and conducive to deep practice.
Online Classes: For those who prefer the flexibility of practicing from home, Commune Yoga provides a robust online community. This option is particularly beneficial for those with busy schedules or who live farther away. As noted in a customer review, this online community has been a consistent and reliable resource for many years for some practitioners, highlighting its quality and effectiveness.
Diverse Yoga Styles: While specific class names may vary, customer feedback highlights the 'Long Slow Deep' class as a notable offering. This suggests a focus on both dynamic (like Vinyasa, though not explicitly stated, is often implied with the "strong" classes mentioned) and restorative practices, ensuring a balanced schedule of options. The studio's commitment to authentic teaching means that each class is led by a well-trained and passionate instructor.
Features / Highlights
Commune Yoga has several features that contribute to its reputation as a premier yoga studio in Seattle. These features are designed to enhance the overall experience, from the moment you consider a visit to the completion of your practice.

Appointments Recommended: To ensure a spot in popular classes and to help the studio manage capacity, it is recommended to book appointments in advance. This helps streamline the check-in process and ensures a smoother experience for everyone.
Strong, Authentic Teachers: A recurring theme in customer feedback is the quality of the instructors. They are described as "strong, authentic, affirming," creating an environment where students feel supported and guided in their practice. This focus on teaching quality is a significant highlight of the studio.

What is worth choosing
Choosing a yoga studio is a personal decision, and Commune Yoga presents a compelling case for Washington residents. What truly sets this studio apart is its dedication to a holistic and authentic yoga experience. One of the most significant reasons to choose Commune Yoga is the quality of its instruction. As highlighted by a long-term practitioner, the teachers are not just guides; they are facilitators of a truly "amazing" yoga class, embodying strength and affirmation. This level of professional and heartfelt teaching is not a given at every studio and speaks volumes about Commune Yoga's commitment to its craft. The variety of classes, catering to different needs and schedules with both in-studio and online options, makes it a versatile choice. This flexibility is a huge benefit for busy Seattleites who need to fit their wellness practice into a demanding lifestyle.
Furthermore, the studio’s welcoming atmosphere and sense of community are major draws. For many, a yoga studio becomes a second home, a place of refuge and connection. Commune Yoga seems to excel at creating this sense of belonging, making it a sanctuary where practitioners can truly feel comfortable and supported. The studio's commitment to accessibility, including features for those with mobility challenges, also shows a thoughtful and inclusive approach. However, it is important for potential clients to be mindful of billing and administrative procedures. While the core practice and teaching are consistently praised, a review points to challenges with the administrative side, specifically regarding billing and refunds. It is advisable to maintain clear communication and records when managing a membership. Despite this administrative concern, the overwhelming sentiment from many is that the practice and the people make Commune Yoga a special and worthwhile place to be. For anyone in the Seattle region looking for a place to deepen their yoga practice, find community, and experience authentic teaching, Commune Yoga stands out as a strong and inviting option. The magic of this studio, as described by those who have experienced it, lies in its ability to be a sanctuary for all who walk through its doors or log into its online classes.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have been practicing with the Commune Seattle online community for five years now. I have also made two separate trips to the Seattle Commune Studio from my hometown in Alberta, Canada. The studio itself is welcoming and beautiful, alongside offering strong, authentic, affirming teachers to facilitate amazing yoga classes. They offer a variety of classes, both in-studio and online, so you can always find what you need. I feel like home when I practice with Commune and I hope others find their way to this studio to get a feel of it’s magic too 💛
April 08 · Kelsey LummerTheir Long Slow Deep class is solid, but the administration is terrible. I cancelled in June and discovered in September that I was still being charged. When I notified them, they asked me to forward the original cancellation email, which I did. I also sent an attachment and a screenshot, yet they insisted none of it counted, showing they don’t understand how email or forwarding works, and even accused me of being wrong. I'm having to go through Visa to resolve it while the studio fights me on a refund or even receiving credit. Be cautious with billing. Their other reviews mention that ownership is snotty, and after this experience I can see why.
September 15 · Katelyn PietrasI did their trial special, and some more classes after that. I enjoyed the classes but would not recommended to beginners. They don't explain poses much so if you're not familiar you're left being off beat and wondering if you're doing it right. They don't really offer alternatives if a pose doesn't work for you. Temperature wise I thought it was pleasantly warm.
June 27 · Annie VoI practice with Commune Yoga through their online classes daily, and it’s an amazing experience. The teachers are knowledgeable, inspiring, and bring great energy to every session. The platform offers a wide variety of classes, making it easy to find the right practice for any mood and level. The quality of the recordings and guidance is excellent, making me feel connected even from afar. Highly recommended for anyone looking for high-quality online yoga!
February 01 · Joaquín G.G.The owners are snobs and not welcoming. I was told I look weird in certain postures and had no explanation of why. I do not recommend this studio or training to anyone. Unless you want to feel terrible about yourself
