What is worth choosing Club Pilates in Edgewater? For a local in New Jersey, the value lies in its unique blend of professional instruction and a community-oriented approach to fitness. This isn't just a place to lift weights or run on a treadmill; it's a dedicated studio where you can focus on building a strong, flexible, and balanced body through mindful movement. While a customer review brought up a valid point about instructor attitude, it’s worth noting that the collective sentiment often highlights the quality of instructors who are "amazing," "fantastic," and "phenomenal." The potential for a less-than-ideal experience with one instructor does not negate the overall positive feedback about the staff and the benefits of the classes. The personalized attention you receive in a small group setting is a huge advantage, as instructors can provide hands-on corrections and modifications, ensuring you perform exercises correctly and safely. This level of oversight is a significant step up from a large gym floor where you're often left to your own devices. Furthermore, the availability of a free demo class makes it easy for newcomers to get a feel for the workout and the studio environment before making a commitment. The variety of class levels and the use of diverse equipment mean that the workout never gets stale and you can continue to challenge yourself as you progress. For a New Jersey resident seeking an effective, low-impact workout that focuses on long-term wellness and core strength, Club Pilates in Edgewater provides a compelling and valuable option, offering a path to better physical health with the support of a dedicated community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I just want to take a moment to share that I attended a class at Club Pilates in West New York, “CP Reformer Flow” with Nicole.Nicole is amazing and a fantastic addition to your team of instructors. I wish she would be teaching more classes and not just subbing from time to time.I’m not the only one in the class that felt this way because others were singing her praises as well after class. I know at times, some people are very quick to complain but I much rather take the time to compliment! Without any reservations, Nicole deserves a shout out!👏🏻
July 21 · Miriam LescailleI recently attended a free demo class at Club Pilates with every intention of joining. Unfortunately, the instructor’s attitude was so off-putting that not only did I decide against signing up, but three other participants expressed the same sentiment. While the instructor was clearly knowledgeable and well-versed in proper technique, her tone was rude, condescending, and dismissive. Comments like “some of you need to learn your body parts” or sarcastically saying “use your other right arm” created an uncomfortable and discouraging atmosphere.I understand the importance of correct form, but there are ways to teach without making people feel inadequate or unwelcome. This isn’t the New York City Ballet—it’s a fitness studio meant to encourage growth, not intimidate beginners. The instructor may have expertise, but she lacks the warmth and empathy that makes people want to return.
August 02 · Details Inc.I’d like to express my disappointment with how Club Pilates handles membership cancellations. While I understand that policies are in place, it’s also the company’s responsibility to clearly communicate and educate members upfront — not rely on fine print after the fact. In my case:1.The required 3-month commitment was never clearly explained when I signed up. Mine was signed up thr. the phone.2. After 3 months and, even though my membership had been on hold for months, I was still charged for an additional full month JUST TO CANCEL.3. When I raised these concerns, the response was simply, “That’s what you signed up for.” That dismissive attitude was extremely frustrating.Yes, I may have signed an agreement, but customer service is about more than paperwork — it’s about creating trust, clarity, and long-term relationships. Real service means treating people like partners, not just transactions. In business, it’s said that one satisfied customer can bring in 70 more — and the opposite is just as true. I no longer feel like a valued member, and this experience has completely changed my perception of your brand. There are a lot more Pilates centers opening in town — centers that see their members as part of a wellness journey, not just a revenue source. Club Pilates is NOT your short & long-term athletic partner at all.
April 02 · Sarah HwangDena managing front desk is the best at what she do from sending reminders to confirming attending class. Dena provided excellent service answering all my questions, walking me thru what to expect and assisting in my enrollment. Along with the instructor Ann and manging location Rita all made my decision to join Club Pilates Edgewater NJ easy so I did and you should join to!
March 15 · Shanese GanttI've been coming for nearly 2 months, consistently, on an unlimited membership which I find to be expensive, but worth it if you have the time to go 4+ times per week. I started shortly after having my baby, once the doctor cleared me to workout. Postpardum, my core was shattered, my pelvic area very sore. Within 3 weeks I felt a major difference in both areas, and now 2 months later I feel much stronger, and rehabilitated to begin doing my regular weight lifting routine again! I completely credit Club Pilates for this. Excellent instructors and pretty decent schedule/availabilities if you're *not a working mom*. My favorite classes are by Narek, Claudia, and Leeza. If you want a real sweat, definitely go to Leeza or Claudia. If you want to learn the principles and still get a good burn in in a cool and calm environment, try Narek's classes.
