Before going to Burn, I had a membership at a chain gym (which was fine) and used to have a lifting routine. I just checked the weights I was lifting back then vs. now and it's night and day. The greatest part is that they do it in a fun, group environment. The trainers are keeping an eye on everyone, but then offer 1-on-1 help if they see you're struggling with form. They also challenge you to push yourself, and all workouts come with modifications depending on each member's level of fitness. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a more dynamic workout, as opposed to some cardio machines and weights.
