This was my first time taking a class at a chain. Bodybar was very unlike other Pilates classes I’ve taken in the past, which had focused on alignment, breath, recovery, and slow considered movement. At Bodybar, it was more like a generic fast paced exercise class with music so loud you could hardly hear the instructor. I would recommend Bodybar if you’re looking to break a sweat, but not if you are looking to recover from injury (or avoid it).
