★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The staff have all been really helpful. Emerson at the front desk went through all of the membership options and worked with me to find which one would be best for me.I am visiting from out of town, and have gotten into a good routine of going to the gym at home. I come here for several weeks each summer and didn't want to loose my pace. Everyone here has been super welcoming and friendly. I have joined some group classes and the trainers have been fantastic. Especially Molly. As someone who feels like the community is really important to your success in your fitness journey, this is the place for you!I will certainly continue to come back each time I am in Omaha.
June 30 · Brigitte HippI signed up and only needed the basic membership, but was told it was actually cheaper to sign up with the higher membership because they had a promo going on with no enrollment fee. I was told I could just downgrade to basic before my first month was up. I went in to do that and was charged a $39 enrollment fee and there was nothing they could do. I’m already a member and you are charging an enrollment fee!? I also paid more for the first month that I knew I didn’t need it want. Don’t join this gym. I’ve been a member at numerous other gyms that don’t have shady practices like this.
August 27 · Ryan GoodenbergerThey don't entirely explain what you're signing up for. Their ads of cheap and affordable memberships is a guise. They neglected to mention and gloss past their annual fee, so that was a surprise. I cancelled my membership at the start of the month but they will continue to collect 2 months of payments from you because "they run a month ahead." Be aware you'll get ripped and nobody knows anything in there.
January 02 · Khalid CSo originally, I liked this gym and staff quite a bit. That was until I decided I was moving out of state and it’s been a totally different experience trying to cancel the membership and get my money back for my personal training which isn’t going to happen now. Jason, who was the was the manager at the 108th south location moved on to a different gym and company. I was under the impression from him that this was money was refundable for personal training, If you didn’t use it all the money or moved. I was informed by the other Blue moon manager that they put the personal training money into a different account which seems fishy as well. That that money cannot be taken out and is nonrefundable. I understand this, but when you get transferred by a company, I think they need to look at all aspects of you’re asking for your money back. There is no reason why they shouldn’t refund this or at least use part of it for my cancellation fee of which they won’t. I find this very frustrating and will not be back to do business with them again if I ever move back to the Omaha.
April 02 · Eric EnglertThe training there is fun but it's was very unorganized due to the previous manager, they got a new guy Derick who was making strides on making it a better work environment. The previous manager didn't cancel memberships and people was coming from up to 6 months prior to the new manager getting there of being charged for a membership they thought was canceled. The female Dana is very unprofessional, I told her that I was leaving there to go back to PepsiCo and the following week I was told I was fired out of the blue. Apparently I didn't smile or greet guest which if you seen me on the weekends you know I talked to a lot of people and have made them programs and given them advice. They also have no benefits for any one who isn't management and pay them bare minimum and think that there employees are overpaid and should be doing cleaning, front desk, putting up weights , making sales and going above and beyond for $12 and hour. Don't believe me check out the job application on indeed. I haven't met anyone who has ever said anything positive about Caleb or the owner. However, on the positive side. They do have a decent gym, platform isn't leveled but the do have some decent equipment, minus the ones that have broken handle when adjusting the seat such as the ham curl. That one has gave me and my client blood blisters in the past. The classes are also structured pretty well both the (class room and turf area.) I wouldn't recommend this gym personally due to the membership issue of over charging people and refusing to offer a refund. If they ever fix that issue it's a solid gym. Very good squat rack on the turf and organization of the weight machines is good along with being very clean now since they hired a new cleaning lady so it's no longer trash over flowing the can and no paper towels in the bathroom. She has fixed all those issues.Personally I would go to vasa it's a better overall facility and cost the same amount of money . Only issue is it's over crowded, and if you don't need free weights I'd recommend planet fitness. Also a not on Dana, within 2 minutes of knowing her she told me about the girl who makes the workouts for the turf classes personal business and how she's not reliable because she is going through a divorce ..very unprofessional also I had one of her clients in a 12 pm class and Dana never corrected her on proper mechanics on doing a row, she shouldn't be utilizing her shoulder as a stabilizer and should be using proper mechanics. 20 years of training and can't even properly teach the basics. I would suggest sticking to yoga and being professional and allow someone who actually has muscle and strength teach people when it comes to resistance training.
