★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I am writing to share some concerns my mom has noticed at the gym that I believe affect both the member experience and overall safety:-Several machines have been out of order for months, limiting options for workouts.-The general cleanliness of the facility has declined and could benefit from more frequent upkeep.-I have also observed individuals who do not appear to be members lingering in the lobby area. This creates an uncomfortable and potentially unsafe environment for paying members. My mom values being part of this gym community and would appreciate if these concerns could be addressed promptly. Please let me know if there are any plans in place to resolve these issues.Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your response!
August 20 · Lisbeth Carrington-accessible by the following train lines: A B C D 1 2 3 4 5 6 ( you will have to walk as little as 1 minute or up to 10-12 minutes based on the line)-superb value for the dollar based on the large variety of equipment (calisthenics-based chin dip assist, cable-based pulleys, and free weights to maximize training hybridization for the best possible muscle growth/fat burn)-good operating hours, at least for New York City-friendly and helpful staff at the front desk-reasonably new equipment and not outdated nor worn out-everything worked as intended when i was there
February 06 · Alex WilliamsGreat gym in the area at a lower price point. Very clean. Most of the folks there are good about letting you work in with them. Do wish they had a few more machines (there’s a TON of cardio) but all-in-all, a great place to get your sweat in!
July 27 · Momo NunusBlink is transitioning to Pure Gym, although it's anyone's guess when the new ownership will be reflected in the equipment. At the moment it's clear that they are letting the equipment age out, with many machines out of order. This morning there was an unhoused person coughing and scratching themselves at the entrance and the building lobby smelled of urine. I wish I were exaggerating. The staff try so hard to be friendly and helpful but it's getting to the point where I feel demoralized going there. Do paying members deserve this?
August 23 · Natalie LebertI just wanted to share a quick note as someone who really enjoys being part of Blink. The staff here are consistently excellent—friendly, professional, and clearly committed to creating a great environment. That said, I’ve been increasingly frustrated by the condition of some of the equipment. Quite a few machines have been out of order for a while now, and I know I’m not the only member who’s noticed. In particular, the rower has had issues for months, specifically, the foot straps in the rowers, which I’ve brought up to the team more than once. I understand it’s been on the service list for some time, but it’s disappointing that it hasn’t been addressed.I say this with respect: when equipment stays broken, it sends a message that member experience isn’t a priority. I’m really hoping to see this resolved soon—ideally within the next week or two. Thanks again for all you do, and I’m hopeful this will be taken seriously.
