March 07 · Doug BarrettHaving tried a number of gyms in the OC area, I can confidently say Black Label is my favorite. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and the small class sizes mean you get a lot of one on one time which is really important when learning new movements. Instructors keep classes fresh with a constantly changing mix of moves with a good balance of heavy weights, gymnastic movements and intense cardio. Would definitely recommend anyone who is considering checking it out to come on down and get ripped!
October 18 · Chris NealThis gym is amazing. With any sport it has a lot to do with the coaches and environment. Not only do you have the best teachers at BLA, you have a top notch facility, and amazing people to workout with. This gym is for every level...when I started out at this gym I was very out of shape and recovering from a knee surgery. I am a former D1 athlete and it was frustrating not being able to do what others could do at the gym. However, the coaches modified and scaled workouts for me, they worked with my mobility, strength. I have now lost 25lbs and getting in better shape everyday. Jeff, Chelsea, and Corey have great knowladge of strength and conditioning, mobility, nutrition...they are the best around (just trust me on that). The community is of all ages and ability and is very encouraging and just all around fun. Like anything in life you must be consistent and this gym makes you want to show up everyday!....I also did a Nutrition coaching with Chelsea, it was not a diet, but more of an awareness and life style choice. I didn’t change much of my diet but did adjust and everything is modification!
