Yoga studio ★5.0

260 Allen St, Buffalo, NY 14201, USA

5.0
This was my very first time ever attending a yoga class. I am a beginner and was pretty nervous about being able to keep up or feel comfortable around other people. Kristen, the teacher, was so kind and patient as she taught the class. She is so encouraging and reassuring. The studio is comfortable, warm and welcoming. Right on Allen and with big beautiful windows and hardwood floors. very nice and quiet. It was so empowering to have such a supportive person to reassure the students on the things we felt vulnerable about. The vibe is warm and very clearly accepting of all body types. As a bigger person, with some physical limitations, I often feel self conscious doing physical activities around others, but I did not experience that here. It was clear that all of the women in the class were on the same page with wanting to support each other and show solidarity through out the class. It was overall a wonderful experience and I will be going back absolutely! I was on the fence about Yoga before the class but I really want to stick with it and I feel very welcomed by Kristen and the girls at tha studio and can’t wait to see where Bend Buffalo is headed! :) - Amanda K
