October 01 · Cinda HockingEven though I have been a yogi for over 25 years, I can still remember my first class with Jody at Be In Awe yoga studio. I was taken by her captivating presence during the class that gave me a sense of true belonging and wholeness that is still with me today. I loved the way the postures flowed together and how she incorporated breathing exercises with every class. The class allows for savasana (relaxation) at several different points in the practice which allows for a deeper integration and sense of peace. I was so intrigued by her classes that I instructed Sivananda Yoga classes for Be In Awe for a few years since I am a yoga instructor. This was so much fun and it brought me so much joy to guide others in the Sivananda practice. My experience teaching deepen this sense of peace and community that Be In Awe offers as soon as you walk in the door. I highly recommend the classes with Jody and Cinda at Be In Awe yoga studio as a place for healing and transformation for anybody at any level of experience.
