Bartlett Gymnastics Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Being at Bartlett Gymnastics has been an absolute pleasure! I am writing this review to give a special shoutout to Coach Terry. My child has had trouble in the past with her willingness to participate in class activities, often being afraid of certain things. However, after being enrolled in Coach Terry’s preschool class, my child has come a long way! Coach Terry has a great way of getting the kids to understand the importance of following directions and participating in ALL activities so that they are able to learn and progress with their skills. Thanks to Coach Terry, my child now LOVES attending gymnastics class. As long as you as a parent remind your child to listen to their teacher, they will have wonderful experience!
June 07 · MarkThis review pertains specifically to Coach Terry and is solely based on our personal experience with her.My 3 year old daughter was enrolled in Coach Terry’s preschool gymnastics class. During her time in this class, she frequently expressed reluctance to attend, often crying before entering. Initially, I dismissed her hesitancy, assuming it to be a phase. I would stay nearby, casually observing while reading a book. However, during a recent class, I made the decision to observe attentively for the entire session and what I witnessed was deeply troubling.Throughout the duration of the class, Coach Terry repeatedly admonished and singled out my daughter. Rather than offering support or second chances, she imposed punitive measures on her, all because my daughter did not want to participate in the bear crawl warmup exercise. (Which was confirmed by Terry after asking her after class) Instead of encouraging her with patience and understanding, Coach Terry instructed her to stand in the corner, informed her she would not receive a stamp, and excluded her from participating in the "fun stuff". All because she did not want to do bear crawls in the first 5 minutes of class. But another child constantly being late and completely missing warm ups is completely fine with no consequences. Even though Terry said warm ups are very important and must be done. Make that make sense...It is my firm belief that Coach Terry lacks the temperament and sensitivity required to work effectively with young children. This incident was not an isolated one but part of a broader pattern of harsh and dismissive behavior. I enrolled my daughter in this program with the hope that she would explore something new and have fun not to be reprimanded harshly, publicly embarrassed, and left feeling discouraged. I did not pay $88 a month for her to stand in the corner, not be able to participate in activities and be singled out all because of bear crawls. My daughter also participates in both cheer and ballet, and I have never encountered another instructor who has treated her or any child in such a demoralizing manner. I strongly advise other parents to avoid placing their children under the supervision of Coach Terry. I will be sharing our experience widely so that others are aware.
May 20 · JasmineNumber one fan, can’t say enough great things about this place!!! I started my daughter in their “parent tot” class this summer and enrolled her in the next session immediately. Especially, all thanks to coach Vic. He is incredibly patient and a wonderful teacher. My shy toddler has absolutely come out of her shell and looks forward to her class every week thanks to him. If you’re looking for a gym, Bartlett Gymnastics is the place, and thank you SO much Coach Vic!
August 15 · Taylir SkinnThe toddler program is structured which is nice. The teachers are outgoing. My main problem was with cleanliness. In the 3-4 months we were there, they might have cleaned it a total of never. Make sure your kids never miss more than one class or you lose that money. We lost 100s of dollars, as we felt responsible to not bring our sick child to class to prevent spread. They clearly don’t promote a clean and healthy atmosphere as they don’t accommodate with more the. One makeup a month.
May 23 · nesim kerimiWe have taken our almost 2 year old to a couple weeks of entry level gymnastics here. We've quickly gained a sense of community with other parents and have been warmly welcomed. Coach Terry (not sure if that's how she spells it) is an all star. She's very engaging with parents and little ones, has such a fun personality and is so encouraging. I can't see us not continuing!
