★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1About 3 years ago, I arrived at the mat in Banyan Tree yoga studio. I had practiced yoga off and on for about 20 years, but had never been a member of a yoga studio. This happened to be a time period in my life of losses of a family member and a marriage. My heart was broken and I was significant emotional pain. Banyan tree yoga studio, its instructors, and members literally saved me. The minute I walked into the building, I could feel myself relaxing. The studio has become an oasis, a safe place for me to be my true self. I have felt unconditional love from the instructors, especially Arianna and Leah. I have developed life long friendships. I believe that all women need a safe place to slow down, let go, release emotions, center oneself in a spiritual environment. Banyan tree yoga quite literally carried me over the past 3 years while I transitioned to a new life. I am forever grateful! 💜🙏
May 30 · Laura SchornI went there quite a few years ago. Jay was awesome. Everyone else is, too. They accept newcomers very nicely, and out-of-state yogis like me. They are very down to earth. I was going through manic and paranoid mental health challenges at that point in my life, and Jay was so accepting of me, and treated me equally despite my awkwardness. Even when other people didn't find me "acceptable" or easy to understand and get along with, Jay absolutely did. Jay is amazing at developing strength and discipline in both mind and body. The other leaders are awesome, but I really resonated with Jay's firey tenacious real spirit, his compassionate heart, and how he tried his best to facilitate harmony. The environment is comfortable, like a tree house! They have good merch. They are very knowledgeable and motivational. Thanks, BT. -nick
May 20 · Niko LFrankie’s meditation class was fantastic. His 1 hour in person class was more helpful to me than any of the online classes I have tried. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and a great teacher. I very much appreciated his approach of doing/experiencing different types of meditation for the first part of class and having a planned discussion/check in at the end. I will definitely sign up again so to help better my practice. Would definitely recommend.
October 05 · Erika Damon3.5 years ago I joined a friend for a yoga class and didn’t realize then the ever lasting impact this practice would have on my mental well-being. Banyan Tree has become my second home and a place where I feel emotionally supported, connected and an overall sense of calmness when stepping onto my mat. I have had the pleasure of creating bonds that will hopefully last a lifetime not only with the teachers, but with the students and community of this wonderful studio. I am forever thankful for stumbling upon Banyan Tree and the community that comes along with it.
May 30 · Pamela TrowI signed up for Banyan Tree's emBODY LOVE yoga workshop this past February, it was my first time attending a class at the studio. The classes in the workshop and the expertise of the instructor, Leah, were wonderful. Leah made all participants (in-class and virtual) feel extremely included, comfortable and safe. The flow and vibe of the class was great. I would definitely sign up for another class or workshop at Banyan Tree yoga again! I would highly recommend any of Leah's yoga classes for a beginner or frequently practicing yogi. I have been practicing yoga for the past 8 years on and off and I felt the class taught me a lot about my practice and myself in general. Banyan Tree is a great studio in the greater Nashua area!!
