The coaches are extremely educated in the fitness and health realm and they express their knowledge efficiently. It’s obvious that the owners and coaches truly care about their athletes. I love that the programming is designed based on their athletes’ capability, desire, and performance. The coaches do really well in providing the support we (the athletes) need. I also love the flexibility of open gym hours, weekly stretch class, and friendly members!! The members go above and beyond outside of the gym to coordinate outside of class time runs and social events. Everyone wants to see each other succeed and it shows here at this gym!
February 13 · Amanda NguyenI’m on week 3 and I am loving everything about this place. The community and support is amazing! I cried inside today because I couldn’t perform what I thought would be easy for me, but Coach Dom could see I needed to scale back. I don’t know what he is looking at that makes him know it’s too heavy when I can’t tell myself, I guess my form, but the pep talks, the feedback is so encouraging. I’m not here for a quick fix and I have to remind myself. Just 1% better everyday. Looking forward to my transformation! My hip pain has already dissolved in just two weeks. I thought I was going hard at home but I know now that I was just playing around. I’m committed, plus I bought too many funny gym shirts so I need to show up so they don’t go to waste 😂😂😂.
March 18 · LaToya RayBalimore Built Strength is a great gym with great Coaches which are also the owners. I am 55 years old and have been training with them for 5 years. They make programs that are both challenging and fun. Both Tony & Dominick (the owners) are able to assist you in reaching your goals. I have had shoulder surgery on both shoulders and back prior to joining this gym and they have made programs specific to me so I may continue to get strong, work on flexibility to stay/get agile without injuring myself. The comunity at this gym is welcoming to all newcomers and are there to encourage one another. I never thought at 55 and with my previous injuries I would be doing as great as I am and this gym is a great part of this. I strongly recommend this gym to everyone reguardless of your physical condition. See you at the gym....get strong & Stay Strong
April 25 · Ignacio ChevezBaltimore Built has been a safe haven for me to work on getting back into conditioning for calisthenics. Which aids in my running. I have appreciated the staff and their attention to detail and support of its gym goers as I walked through parental loss grief and living in a new state. The facility is very much so an accommodation to anyone doing functional training or CrossFit training. I have been on the open gym membership. They are glad to help anyone and are very pleasant.
