I spent some time looking through their Instagram to get a sense of the vibe. When I initially reached out, one of the coaches set me up with a date to come in along with someone to help me with the foundations and I signed up for the seven day trial.The first few sessions were overwhelming but the coaches were really patient and the other members were so supportive and a week or so into joining I started to hit a good groove.Classes are high energy and go by fast. They all follow the same structure: Staring with a 10 minute HITT workout with different focuses each month (full body, arms, legs, core,etc), next five minutes or so of stretching which focus of opening up hips and loosening up hamstrings and quads for kicks, then there are 5 rounds on the bag each about 4minutes long. These bag rounds follow a different sequence every class so they never get boring. The class wraps up with a few rounds of partner drills and a final challenge before the last round of stretching.Coaches are determined to help you get your form down and fine tune techniques and the glove club is really excellent motivation to come to class. I love that there is an incentive system that rewards showing up and participating.The features I appreciate the most aren’t even workout related, the team at ATCK is really community oriented both in the gym and out of it. Every few months there is an event for members like a costume party for Halloween or family fun day when the weather gets nice.They regularly facilitate canned food and toy drives around the holidays, they partner with organizations to raise money for everything from getting shoes for kids in need to offering education. They really care about making a positive impact for members and the community.I’ve really loved my experience so far with ATCK Fitness.

Stepping foot into this gym I gained my confidence back , I thought it was gone forever! I gained my life back after slipping into a drop depression caused my weight gain and unhealthy habits ! I have tried different group exercises and places but every place felt like if you haven’t been going everyday for years, you couldn’t be in the group. Not at ATCK. Every single person who walks onto the mat is greeted and encouraged and celebrated. We celebrate your first time, your first pound lost, your new job, your fresh haircut (if that is something that has brought you joy), etc. I love going to class because I know that no matter what class I take, or who is coaching, or what level I am at in my journey, I belong.
