My wife and I have attended this location occasionally over the past few years, on our way to visit family in Maine.There is no deadlift platform. However, there is space that you can set aside to deadlift.The bars have great knurling and proper thickness for deadlifting. You can hookgrip the bars with no issues. Some of the plates are a little worn and the rubber coating is peeling away from the sleeve holes, but nothing major or concerning.The bathrooms are clean. The showers are spacious, moreso than our local gym locations back home.The staff seem welcoming and friendly; there was a flyer posted in the cubby area advertising pick-up basketball games involving the staff for any interested members, which is a great engagement point for a sense of community in the gym.You'll likely notice other reviews bombing this location over their contracts or membership retention issues. I can't speak to that matter for this location, but bear in mind: ANY gym that you sign up for, you'll behoove yourself to discuss contract terms and cancellation policies up front. Look at reviews for any franchise-marketed gym, and you'll find horrific reviews over cancellation policies. You'll also find 5-star reviews.
