ALIGN offers a variety of specialized services that cater to a wide range of fitness needs, with a particular focus on rehabilitation, recovery, and personalized training. The center's mission is to provide an in-depth, rich learning experience of the human anatomy, ensuring that clients not only get a great workout but also understand the "why" behind their movements. The services available include:
- One-on-One Personal Training: A highly personalized approach that starts with goal setting and a movement screening to create a customized program. Workouts may incorporate a blend of kettlebells, TRX, bands, and battling ropes, with a focus on creative and challenging programming.
- Semi-Private Training: Small group personal training sessions, typically with 2-4 participants, that offer individualized attention at a lower cost. Coaches blend general and personalized training for each person in every workout.
- Functional Movement Screening (FMS): An evaluation of movement quality to identify areas of compensation and injury risk. This information is then used to build an individualized exercise script to improve how clients move, feel, and perform.
- Specialized Offerings: A variety of unique classes and programs that may include: Align and Flow (dynamic movement), Align Kettlebell and Bodyweight, and Align Golf Fitness, which includes a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Evaluation to improve performance and prevent injury.
- Yoga and Pilates: Classes that focus on strengthening the body, improving flexibility, and enhancing mindfulness through a series of poses and controlled movements.
- Open Gym: Unlimited access for members to use the space and equipment for their own workouts.
The variety and specialization of these services demonstrate ALIGN’s commitment to providing a holistic and knowledgeable approach to fitness that goes beyond the basics.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Align is truly exceptional. After a serious injury three years ago, working with Chris and his team has been a game-changer in my recovery. Chris helped me rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence, guiding me toward a new version of normal I wasn’t sure was possible. His deep knowledge of the human body, combined with genuine care and consistent positivity, makes every session empowering. You can tell he loves what he does, and it shows in the results. I’m incredibly grateful for Chris and the Align team.
July 09 · JosephThe moment I walked into Align I immediately loved the energy of the space. I had the pleasure of taking Savannah’s “Align and Flow” class and was fascinated by her teaching skills. As a visual learner, I greatly appreciate when instructors show and tell. Chris the owner was kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I highly recommend if you desire a unique, in depth, rich learning experience of the anatomy.
March 05 · Artise FletcherIf you are a personal trainer, PT, coach, or movement teacher, run, don't walk to ALIGN in DC. This studio has everything you need to stay current with the latest fascia research that you can immediately apply in your practice. I'm a Melt Instructor, movement educator, and somatic therapist. I go to ALIGN to continue my wellness journey and study with ALIGN practitioners who are curious, adept, and are masterful in their work. I feel so lucky that this world-class studio is right here in D.C.
April 15 · Adina DocterI’m so thankful to have found this place. For months I was dealing with back and shoulder pain and felt completely hopeless that things would get better. The instructors at Align are a godsend, the interior decoration is awesome, and the exercises really work. I’ve learned so much on how to take care of my body at my time here. The atmosphere is so positive and motivational. If you're dealing with any sort of pain or wish to learn and strengthen your body, I recommend you give this place a try. I really enjoyed learning about the science behind the manual work we do, the instructors are highly skilled and personable.
May 31 · Oriana TerravecchiaChristopher and his team are fantastic at all aspects of the client experience. I worked with ALIGN for 8 weeks with a 1 on 1 session and group class each week to address pain at the base of my Achilles/heel. I really appreciated their full body approach that begins with the intake assessment. We addressed issues to begin the healing process for my injury, performed exercises to fully rehab old injuries, and talked about future injury prevention. Not only did I learn about techniques in class, but Christopher and the team provided videos and exercises for me to continue recovery on my own after moving away from D.C.I highly recommend ALIGN for many reasons, but the top two are the team's wide and deep knowledge of fascia and their genuine interest in teaching the techniques, so the client can complement the work done in class or 1 on 1 sessions.
