Services Offered
Afterglow Yoga’s core service is its comprehensive schedule of lessons, covering the full spectrum of yoga disciplines. This range allows practitioners in Oregon to tailor their weekly routine to meet diverse physical and mental goals.
- Group Lessons (Vinyasa Flow): The backbone of the schedule, these fluid, breath-synchronized classes include varying levels such as the foundational Vinyasa Flow, and more dynamic sequences like Flow, and sometimes Heated Vinyasa.
- Group Lessons (Power/Strong): Classes dedicated to building strength, stamina, and confidence through longer, stronger asanas, dynamic movement, and core work. This often includes sequences derived from the studio’s unique approach designed to maximize the "afterburn" effect.
- Group Lessons (Restorative/Gentle): Essential practices like Yin Yoga (targeting deep connective tissues), Gentle Yoga, and Somatic Restorative Yoga, which emphasize slow, mindful movements and use props to facilitate deep relaxation and nervous system regulation.
- Group Lessons (Fusion & Specialty): Unique, energetic offerings that blend yoga with other modalities, such as Candlelight Vinyasa to Yin for balance, or dynamic practices like Buti Yoga (blending yoga, primal movements, and plyometrics).
- Group Lessons (Foundational): Classes like Ashtanga Fundamentals, which teach the ancient practice of synchronizing breath and movement through a structured sequence, perfect for learning safe alignment.
- Private Lessons: Tailored, one-on-one sessions with an experienced instructor. These 60-minute private lessons are perfect for beginners to build a strong foundation, for advanced practitioners to refine their alignment, or for anyone needing personalized guidance to address specific physical concerns or injuries.

Afterglow Yoga Portland Reviews
We are thrilled to have this amazing yoga studio in our neighborhood! The classes offered are a range of yoga styes, the teachers are all very well versed (and friendly), its clean and in a great location. Love the locally owned vibe too! Highly recommend for all yoga levels. I have practiced at many studios in Portland and this is my new FAV for both a gentle yin and a power class.
February 24 · Vy & Steve ChaoI love love love this place. Just had my first yoga class here. The place is small but cute and comfortable. Maybe because the studio is still new, they don’t have many people in each class, but I love that! The other studios that I have been to are always way too packed, we felt like sardines, but not here. Please keep it this way if possible because I really enjoy being able to do all the moves and poses without touching other people. Highly recommended!
