★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I just did my first float at Quiet Corner! It was very relaxing. I have gone to other places and I was worried I wouldn't like it as much but I did! The space is so comfortable and clean and Angie and Julie were so down to earth and friendly. I will definitely be back!
August 18 · Katie RiversClean, beautiful, quiet, peaceful. Angie is amazing and I’m so grateful for her bringing her studio to Willimantic!! It was surreal to enjoy such a wonderfully thoughtful space in Willimantic - I grew up in Windham center and I love our town, but this felt like I was transported to an upscale neighborhood ;)I was very impressed and pleased with the entire experience.I went for a 60min float (my first ever) and I was made to feel completely comfortable and at ease, before, during, and after the session. 10/10 would recommend.
June 17 · Nicholas ShifrinMy favorite yoga studio ❤️ Angie, Anna, Erin, Shelley and the other teachers, as well as other students have made Yono feel like a home to me after a long day. Very grateful for yono always!!
August 22 · SeriousfoodieAfter moving back to CT from Denver, I struggled to find a yoga studio that seemed to fit until I tried Yono. The instructors are highly skilled, friendly, creative and real. I could feel the sense of community immediately. Every class is invigorating & challenging and yet relaxing. I have yet to leave class and not feel uplifted! Each instructor brings their unique approach to class so there is something for everyone. I highly recommend Yono whether you are beginner or advanced.
February 24 · Carol KlusekI just wanted to leave my review of the phenomenal Somatic Breathwork class that I participated in last Saturday.Prior to this class, I had zero experience with somatic breathwork and walked in not really knowing what to expect, other than a reset of my nervous system which is something I greatly needed. Samara, the instructor, was warm and welcoming. She began by introducing us to the concept of somatic breathwork and urged us to leave our judgements of ourselves and others aside. Throughout the class, she did an excellent job guiding us to open up and let go. The key word here was "expression". Somatic breathwork is a real and sought after therapy, and now I see why. It gets you into your body so that you can move old, stuck emotions through it, and this modality manifests in ways that might be intense or scary to the uninitiated. Many people, including myself, were compelled to yell, scream, cry or even laugh, and because of the nonjudgmental space Samara helped create for us, I felt thoroughly safe to do so and let go.By the end of the class I felt a stillness in the center of my being that I hadn't felt in who knows how long. My mind was clear, and I felt that I was more grounded than I can ever remember being. I spent the rest of the day nourishing myself and my thoughts. If this workshop were offered again I would take it in a heartbeat. I clearly see the value in this type of therapy and I'm so glad I took a chance on it, and I'm so grateful to have a space like Yono here in town.
